Christmas was an interesting time for Victoria Yun. With her family being... her family, she normally spends that time of the year on her own. Besides that, she usually volunteers at the girls house, bringing food, medicine and little gifts. This year, though, Helene had agreed to spend Christmas day with her which had caused a ball of anxiety and giddiness to swarm in Vickie's stomach.Still, Christmas Day wouldn't be for two more days. Now, the Yun woman stood besides her friend James Wilson as they talked in the clinic lobby at the nurses station. Finding herself in a Christmas mood, the woman was humming 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer'. She was also doing her boss' paperwork while he lounged in a chair, his feet up on the nurses station desk as he played with a folded up piece of paper.
"We are condemned to useless labour." He said, eyes trained on the paper he was fiddling with. Vickie rolled her eyes as James sighed and played along, "Fourth circle of hell. Charting goes along fast when you eliminate all clasic poetry. Or letting your none medical degree assitant do it for you," he turned to the woman besides him. "No offense."
Vickie shrugged, eyes not leaving the paper in front of her. She knew who she was and, even though she worked at a hospital, she had no medical training or even a high school diploma. "None taken."
"Writing down what we already know to be read by no body," Said House, giving his opinion about the charting. "I'm pretty sure Dante would agree that qualifies as useless."
"You're over two weeks behind, House," Sighed his assitant as she threw a file into his lap. "And I sure as hell am not doing it all. I have a date on Christmas I'd like to get to."
Just then, the doctor flicked his finger against the folded up piece of paper, causing it to shoot up at Vickie. It bounced against the column of her throat and fell into the low neckline of her shirt, landing right in her cleavage. Her eyes shot up at her boss, giving him a look. "Are you a child?"
"Hmm. Could a child do this?" He pulled a silly face that had her giggling. She gave him a roll of her eyes, though the smile on her lips was still present, "If that sticks I'm taking a picture and putting it on the World Wide Web."
House gasped in mock shock, "You wouldn't?!"
"Try me." Vickie smirked, a sparkle in her eyes. House opened his mouth to add something, when she held up a red file, "You still have a patient in exam room one, by the way."
"Hmm, yeah, but see I'm- I'm off at 12, and it's already five of."
"Yes, and this woman has been waiting for you since eleven. Now, I told her you'd be a while, but this is really stretching it," she threw the file into his lap, gave Wilson's arm a squeeze in parting before she signed off her last chart, faking House' signature in doing so, and made her way out of the clinic with a last, "Besides, you'll like this one!"
House watched her go, his clear blue eyes trailing over her figure as her dark red heels -with green Christmas lights painted on them- clacked against the linoleum floor. When she disappeared from sight, he turned back to Wilson. Said doctor was looking at him knowingly, which he ignored, as he begrudgingly got up. "Melancholy without hope. Which circle is that?"

"What about... chocolate cake? I make a mean, old chocolate cake?"
"On Christmas? I dunno... how about pudding?"
Vickie scrunched up her nose, happy that Helene couldn't see her reaction. The assistant was sitting behind her desk, computer on in front of her and headset on her head as she called with Helene. The two were discussing what to eat on Christmas Day... so far, it had not been going great.
