A man, in his middle 40s, came home, a boarding house, from his job.

As he walked up the path towards the house, a movement from the corner of his right eye caught his attention.

He stopped in his tracks while looking to his right then he shrugged it off thinking it was just his immagination.

Just as he was about to start walking again, he felt someone's gaze on him that sent a shiver down his spine.

He looked around searching for something or anything to tell him that there was nobody.

But he knew that as much as he denied it that there was someone with him, traking his moviment, playing with him.

Then he turned around to run into his house, but stopped as soon as he saw a man who looked like he was in his late 20s but he knew better than to underestimate someone from their apparence.

The man was standing between the door and him making him realize that he was screwed.

"Greetings Zachary, the last living member of the Salvatore bloodline."

The man spoke playfully and that brought him, Zachary, back to reality.

He lifted his eyes to see the other's heterochromia eyes, the left blue eye and the right green eye, looking back at him.

He froze remembering those eyes and knowing who the man was.

"Nathaniel... You're Nathaniel Salvatore, the oldest of the three brothers."

The man, known as Nathaniel, looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You know who I am?" Questioned Nathaniel crossing his arms over his chest.

"Yes... There is a portrait of you and your brother on the wall of the parlor and some description about who you are in some of my great-grand father's book."

Zachary knew that he need to be careful with how he treated Nathaniel.

Nathaniel might care for his two brothers, but he was not someone to be messed with.

A sly smirk slowly found the way on Nathaniel's face as he stepped away from the door.

"Well, then go in, Zachary."

Zachary nodded as he walked toward the door and openned it. But before he could get in, a hand on his shoulder made him freeze.

Nathaniel, bringing his face close to Zachary's ear and making some of Nathaniel's black curls touch his ear, whispered seriously to him -all the playfulness gone- sending a shiver down his spine.

"Invite me in, Zachary. Or I will show you what I can do, but I am quite sure that you don't want to. Right?"
