Please do compare me to a summer's day,
And tell me how the sable-coloured sear
Of my eyes look like night skies, and the way
I gleam gold when the sunlight hits my hairCaress the flowers growing on my skin
Which mistook me for oaken earth, tell me
Truthfully if over time I've grown thin
Don't you lie about what you really seeKeep quiet, and tell me that my ears are placed
Perfectly proportional to my head,
Or if my nose is too big for my face,
If my cheeks are a pretty shade of red,And I'll simply pretend to be flattered,
Though I deep down know that looks don't matter.└── •✧• ──┘
