I've been off of work for awhile now and am now sitting in my car in a different outfit than what I wore to work.
My outfit is all black so I can barely be seen in an outfit I really didn't want to have to wear again but for Valentina's birthday, I guess I'll try. I turn to the passenger side of my car and grab the mask.
The mask is a black masquerade type of mask. Specks of dried blood from previous things I did with it.
Memories are all I can seem to think of my old life. A life I don't want anymore, a life I don't need. Picking up the mask I pull it over my head as I look through the mirror to see how I look. I grab my pink Dior lip oil and apply it puckering my lips in the process.
Smiling finally, I get back into the mindset I used to have. Checking the time and making sure I'm right on the dot I get out of my car heading into the alley I was parked next to.
The alley was far enough so you couldn't see my car to make sure my old little friend doesn't remember me so soon.
Smiling as I walk into the alleyway I see the familiar dark skin brunette, Alessandro Antonio Marchetti my new photographer. "Smiles much?" He begins taking the cancer stick out of his mouth blowing the air out.
"Always Marchetti," he tenses up scared clearly. For a boy who grew up in the mafia, you'd think he would be less scared.
"Whatever," he tsks taking the fake id's out and putting his hand out to the middle of us. "I got your id's now where's my cash?" He questions attempting to be threatening with his tone of voice making me roll my eyes.
You don't scare the woman with no name. "A deals a deal Alessandro," I reply containing the biggest grin I've ever made as I pull the money out of my pocket.
He tenses slightly waiting for his two hundred. Just before handing him the cash, I back away my hand laughing a sinister laugh, "Got ya didn't I?" I laugh a crazy laugh one evil type of clowns would make.
He licks his lips throwing his cigarette on the ground stepping on it. "Look I made the id's for you all I want is the money. Besides I don't necessarily have to give you this, I could've reported the woman with no name," he scoffs turning his head slightly.
I give him a questionable look crossing my arms, "But you can't," I smirk at him.
"Remember our deal?" I question as he looks down at the floor for one second before staring back up. "I get the id's and you get your family back safely along with two hundred bucks," I grin at him showing my white straight teeth before licking the top half like a cat.
"Hand me the id's you get the cash," I pause waiting for him to stick his hand out but he refuses shaking his head waiting for the next part.
I groan rolling my head, "And your family," I state as he immediately gives me the id's holding out a hand for the money which I instantly give him. "Thank you, Sandro," I say rolling the r's just like I used to.
He nods as we part ways into different parts of the alleyway.
Another memory seems to come back into my mind,
~~~~~~
A knock on the door sounds in my ear after my step-father yelling at me for accidentally dropping my water bottle.
I wipe the tears from my face as Raymond instantly backs away his face relaxing in the process slowly but breathing just as heavily as before. He turns to the door groaning as he states lower this time. I sniffle as he speaks, "Get the door," he says low still clearly angry at me.
I nod not looking at him as he heads towards the upstairs of the house. I walk to the door hoping my mother and brothers are back home before putting on my best fake smile and unlocking the door.
I see my brother's best friend as well as a little boy just a few years younger than me it seems.
"Hey Aidan," I say smiling at him as he smiles back holding onto the little boy's hand. "Sorry, my brothers are at the store with my mom right now," I say my smile slowly deteriorating.
He nods turning to the little brunette boy, "Lia this is my little brother, Alessandro," I smile at the boy crouching down to get to his height.
"Hello Alessandro, you can call me Lia," I say referring to my nickname from the name I always hated.
He nods smiling at him as Aidan mutters to the boy, "Say hi be nice." Alessandro smiles at me again, "Hi Lia," he manages to say his voice shy and low.
"Tell Theo and them I'll be back later and my mom made me bring him," he looks back at his brother as they both turn to each other. "It's fine don't worry I'll let them know A," I state truthfully.
"Thanks Lia," I nod at him and wave bye to the little boy saying, "Bye bye Sandro," rolling my r's in the process just as I close the door.
Just as the door closes I see a hand and instantly get smacked by Raymond. I groan hitting my head against the door from the impact of his slap.
I wipe my face looking towards him seeing a small glass containing whiskey in it as he takes a sip.
"You're ten and still a fucking dumbass," he attempts to whisper but makes sure I'm able to hear him.
