It was a mild summer day in the year of 2007, the smell of slightly damp grass filled the air, it was an overall pretty day, And Adry, a girl who was around the age of 19, with distinctive turquoise hair that bushed over her shoulders like waves of a dim salted sea knew that all too well, however, she was unfortunately sat inside an economics lecture given by her snooty teacher, professor jade. She was a stern old woman with cropped grey hair and oversized glasses that more often than not slipped down her coal textured face. Her and Adry didn't mix well, the cause of this clash was mainly down to the polar opposite personalities in the room, while Adry was a intelligent but boisterous spirit, Professor jade was firm and snidey, not the best mix for a educational environment.
The woman would tend to pick on Adry for questions she didn't know, and whenever Adry has her for a lecture she usually decides to hide around the far side of the building under a staircase, but she had herself nearly kicked off the course when she got caught doing that, so she decided to go and try ride it out this time. But lucky for Adry, the time soon passed, although there was plenty of stains on the desk where she had sat at, rubbed out silhouettes of multiple penises she had drawn with black marker pen and then after tried to rub out the evidence, but that wasn't her problem she thought to herself, it was jade's.
As she strided out the building with a exaggerated swing in her step, Adry looked subtley to the right before a dark skinned girl with an untamed afro and chocolate brown eyes came charging at her with a wide eyed grin, "HEY! Slow down!!!-" Adry commanded with panic in her voice, The girl didn't, she instead ran into her and attacked her by giving her a big squeeze around her waist, Adry, who was now getting attacked by hugs from her friend, was now panting profoundly. "*Pant pant* oh god Cassie, *huff* you scared me so badly then" Adry said still clutching her chest trying regain her breath again, Cassie was known as the local 'Hippee' as she adorned herself with necklaces and cultural vibrant clothing which only hugged the top half of her body in a tight manner, however she was more of a witchcrafter who indulged herself in the arts of ghosts and the paranormal.
They both stared at eachother for a few seconds before Adry went to speak, but she then closed her mouth as she didn't know what was wanting to be said at this moment, she simply found the silence to be understimulating, Cassie, however, had a gleeful tone of voice as she cheerfully spouted "Adry! Listen! Me and my friends are throwing a party at my house! I'd be SO SO SO SO SOOOO happy if you came!" Cassie was now looking at Adry with a pleading look, her hands closed together against her chest as if she was begging for an answer, a positive one of which Adry agrees. "Sure!!! Uhm... when is it exactly?" Adry asks, accompanied with a head tilt. Cassie then replied with a upbeat tune, "well! It's actually tonight, we'd be more than honoured if you came!", Adry gave her a cheerful smile, but before she could say anything else to Cassie, she was gone. Adry folded her arms and looked around, a little stunned that she just left like that, but she wasn't all too phased, as Cassie was the mysterious type of girl who was prone to pranking, but so was Adry, this usually leaded to prank wars between the two.
But aside from that, she loved Cassie dearly, they have been friends for over 5 years and Adry sure wasn't one to miss a party! So she hurried home to get dressed into something more fun, as she knew most of Cassies friends were either hippies or goths, she wanted to impress them all, so she rummaged through her wardrobe to try and find something that'll blow their socks off!.... if Cassies friends even wore socks that is. "God sake, where did I even put it?!" Adry groaned as she continued to haul through her wardrobe she finally found what she was looking for, a tight fitting black dress which hugged her curves to a obvious extent, but it pulled her in at all the right places too, which made it look overall very flattering on her. She then tied her hair into a messy poney tail which she didn't bother to straighten, she wore boots which made her go from 5,5 to 5,7, she now surely looked like the shit now. She then kicked her leg behind her in a posing manner in the minor before making her way out, but then coming back inside the house to grab her phone which she neatly forgot, but then she was off to go to Cassies party! When she stepped outside, the cool air of evening hit her shoulders instantly, she then wished she had brought a jacket, but she felt that'd ruin the whole outfit, so she decided against it. As she stepped down the much more empty street of her town, she checked her GPS to see if she was even heading in the right direction, it told her she was, so she headed the direction it told her.
However...
An hour seemed tk have passed, she didn't seem to be at the right location, as she thought that Cassies house wouldn't be on the outskirt of a dusky looking forest, Adry peerd around to see if there was anybody she could atleast recognise, but there was nobody here at all, nevermind trying to find somebody she atleast KNEW.Adry began to panic, it was late out and she was on her own, why wouldn't she not panic?! In a flush of both paranoia and fear, she fled the area, but she ran in the wrong direction and was now even further into the woods than out. Shit. Adry felt the sweat flood up in her palms as she wanderd around in a hasty manner. Her breathing becoming more sharp as she did so, she wasn't thinking straight at this very moment. "*huff* *huff* oh god, IM DONE FOR!!!" she shouted in a attempt to be heard, nothing, however, she did see in the glimpse of her view a silhouette of a building, that was pretty odd, even she knew that, but desperation does things to people, so she decided to venture on in the direction of the fair sized house.
As Adry got closer to the outdated mansion, she felt a feeling of fear swirl inside of her, but that didn't stop her from approaching jt further, that until she was at the front door she stood small against the huge house, she felt as if she should run away, but something was keeping her from doing so.
As she drew a breath from the ice cold air, a feeling of shock voted through her body, so without a second thought she pushed the doors open with a clank.
