"Oscar.....uhhh...yes...Oscar." he stutterd. Adry gulped. Her tongue felt tied around her throat. She wasn't very good with awkward people, let alone ghosts. They both just looked at each other, Oscar cleared his throat, but didn't say anything after that. It seemed Adry had to carry the conversation for the time being. His ghostly body then got himself out of the mirror, and stood in front of her, Adry looked subtly scared, but she was trying ever so hard to suppress her true emotions, it wasn't the way he looked that scared her, it was his blank expression, his big green eyes stared gazing at Adry, they both knew they were scared of each other, Adry then went to speak but then stopped herself, "uhmmmn..." she grunted. "What do you call yourself?" Oscar asked, not giving clear eye contact anymore. Adry paused. People usually tend to ask what your name is not what you call yourself, she thought for a minute, "Just- call me Adry." She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly, "Adry? Is that short for something?" He asked with curiosity, Adry frowned "Why is my name boring you?" She said with a hint of malice, his expression went from confusion to frustration, "No I just thought it'd be longer."
He then looked down at her again and evaluated her appearance, Adry gulped, she didn't know if he was impressed or judging her, she didn't know what type of person he is, but she then relaxed, knowing that he's just a ghost, and he wouldn't be able to touch her physically, or what she'd assume would happen if he tried touch her. Oscar then smiled softly after looking at her for a few moments, "It's refreshing to see somebody with a figure" Adry blushed, she didn't know whether he was implying if she was fat or if she was endearing, "Ah. Thank you." She said with gritted teeth, as she took it as a jab at her appearance, she then smirked and decided to play him the same way, "You know, its refreshing to see young men not care about their hair going grey." he gasped, ''Wait, what? How did you-'' he felt his hair, it was black all on top, but he had a hint of silver underneath, he was clearly young so its nothing that had come from age, he looked back at her with wide eyes, his pointed elf ears perked. ''its stress! your stressing me out!'' he pointed at her accusingly, his voice pitched up an octave with the raised tone, Adry put her hands in front of her and backed up a bit, ''Chill man just chill it was a joke!'' pause.
He looked at her as if she was speaking foreign, he then came closer and knelt down, his body had a very light, floatish sort of manner to it, he was interested in Adry's phone, which was buzzing in her pocket. ''Do you collect insects?'' he looked up at her with mere innocence, his eyebrows raised slightly, Adry just frowned as she thought the question was rather stupid, ''No, why?'' he looked back down at her jacket pocket, ''well its just that your pocket seems to be making some sort of humming noise, as if you've got a bee in there..'' he then notices the glow, ''My mistake, is it a firefly?'' Adry looked at him knelt in front of her pocket, he looked rather interested in it, she then realised that he had no idea what a phone was, and that her phone was ringing and she was just letting it, she took it out without any warning, it spooked Oscar so much that he felt on his arse with a grunt, and his transparent ghostly body went through the floor, he yelped before falling without leaving any trace other than his hat, Adry gasped but then looked to her phone to realise who was calling, it was her mother, Tracey, who had sent many voice messages before ringing, sounding very concerned for where Adry was, she froze, meanwhile Oscar was getting himself out the floor, a look of panic was shared with a glance at her phone, but then a concerned and weirded out look was gave to Oscar, his face was bright red, he then got up and put his hat back on as Adry answered her mum, to her surprise it was video call, she then put the camera really close to her face so her mum could not see where she was at the moment, she then put her finger on her lips at and made a 'shhh' noise at Oscar, his brows furrowed at Adry, his ego felt shook at that so he just stood over her shoulder, trying get in the camera-view, ''Adry, where are you, you said you'd be home by 11:30 and its midnight!''
Adry just stammered as her mum continued to scold her some more, Oscar kept giggling in a childish manner, Adry's mum then finally questioned, ''And who is that? Do I know her? Show me the girl your hanging out with!'' Oscar paused, he got called a girl by somebody's mum, he then spoke up and chirped, ''Are you delusional? Do I sound like some prat of a maiden?!'' Adry was trying cover his mouth but her hand just went through him, Adrys mum was shocked and what she said couldn't be heard over the audible arguing of Oscar and Adry, eventually she hung up while they were still bitching at each other like cats and dogs. Adry's tone was more savage and mean while Oscars was patronising and calm, which made Adry even more angry, eventually she sighed and just looked up at him, ''Can I kill you Oscar? Do ghosts go to ghost heaven or something?'' he just looked down at her and gave a almost innocent smile, accompanied by a hummed giggle. Adry then turned around and started walking, Oscars ghostly figure following her, she turned around sharply, ''What are you doing?'' she said with a snark in her tone. Oscar just blinked and replied bluntly, ''Trying to possess you.'' Adrys eyes went wide, beads of sweat forming lightly on her forehead, ''What!?'' Oscar just put his hands in his trouser pockets, ''Well its said if a ghost possesses a human in the place they died then they can leave the location freely, but for now, im trapped.'' he looked down at her with a almost pleadish look, but then a smirk. Adry just didn't know what say, something in her said she wanted to help the boy, but she wasn't fully trusting his method of possession, ''So, if I was to let you possess me, to get out this place, you'd give me my body back, right? you wouldn't do anything....well....strange?'' Oscar just stared blankly before responding with an exaggerated innocence that didn't at all seem genuine, But she didn't really question it, or let alone realise it, so she nodded, ''Ok, ill let you, just promise to not fuck my life up, and give my body back after'' She said as she held out her hand to shake his, he went to shake hers but it went through, ''deal.'' he said sternly, he then stepped back.
''alright now just stay still, i promise you wont even feel a thing~'' he said with a innocent tone before golden aura came from his right hand, he ran into her, becoming one with her body, a bright golden flash was seen, Adry just stood in shock and let out a gasp, and before she could realise it, Oscar was apart of her subconscious, she could here him loudly, she thought that possession was full control over the body, but turns out it was just him using her as a vessel for the time being, ''Oscar?....'' she asked him, not seeing him made her feel awkward, he replied, ''yes?'' it came from Adrys mouth, she gasped and put her hands over her mouth, it sounded like Oscar, but it came from her! She shook her head, ''Oh thank god, I thought something went wrong.'' she said with her hand on her chest as she sighed in relief, Oscar then giggled, which was expressed from Adry's body, ''Hehe, nothings wrong. Just relax and ill be out before you know it!'' Oscar made Adrys body say, still sounding like him. Adry was now starting to re-think her decision, but she knew there was no turning back now, ''Ok, lets get going!'' She said as she began walking, ''Where are we going?'' Oscar asked, Adry took time to reply to herself, or to him. ''My house.'', Oscar said nothing, which Adry took a sign to carry on venturing out of the woods in the blackened moonlit sky.
