My vision blurred out from my tears. There was really nothing I could do than try to stand up and continue running.
Eva's bitches ran over to me with smiles on their faces. They tackled me. And they are very much prepared as if this has happened before. As if it was planned.
They all helped each other wrap my arms and legs with a rope. I screamed and cried wishing that at least someone would hear. How stupid I am to trust a fucking stranger.
Annoyed, Cricket pulled out a small fabric and tied it around my mouth to the back of my neck. Hiccups and coughs now drowned my screams. I couldn't talk properly.
A napkin wipes out my teary eyes. Eva. Eva looked at me pouting, mocking me. "Sh... No one's going to hear you here. Now let's continue my birthday ceremony, okay?" She happily said.
I don't know if I'm going to die soon. But if they plan to kill me, God, please make it as unpainful as possible. I know I deserve to be tortured. But they do too.
Eva dragged me back to the place where the corpse was. Looking at it makes me want to puke and pass out.
"It's time for me to light up my candle," Eva cheered. Everyone else cheered and then started singing Happy Birthday. It pained me to see everyone pouring gasoline on the poor woman's body. They are all fucking sick in the head.
Eva lit up a match and tossed it to Isis' body. Of course, it made a big fire. I'm not even close enough to fully see everything but the heat made me feel like my face is going to melt off.
"Make a wish!" "Yeahh, make a wish Eva," They chanted. How are they not seeing how disturbing this is?
Eva laughed making a 'shh' gesture. She closed her eyes making her wish. I followed her. I closed my eyes to make a wish. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I just want this to all go the fuck away.
God, I know I haven't been the most excellent follower. I killed three of your followers and I feel very guilty about it. You give miracles to everyone, right? Please, I'm begging you to shield me from evil. From Eva.
I opened my eyes at the same time as Eva. She looked me straight in the eyes smiling. Deep down, I just knew her wish might have something to do with me. But I refuse to believe it. Birthday wishes are insanely effective.
She 'blew' the fire out by spraying the body with water. All I can say is, it doesn't look like human anymore. She barely has any skin covering her insides. The smell and the sight made me dizzy.
My brain went into fight or flight mode when Eva instructed everyone to leave. The tears came back and I became very much aware of my surroundings. With how much I'm squirming and kicking, I can guarantee I have rope burns around my arms and legs.
She sighed sitting down in front of me. A horrible sad look plastered on her face. "You know, considering you're a murderer. I thought it'd be so much easier to mend you. But somehow you're resisting all of this. Doesn't this make you feel better? Now that you know we are the same, you can open up to me better. I did all of this for you, Y/N. So we can have a connection,"
I can't believe she said that. She killed Isis because she thought us having something in common would make me warm up to her. "Tell me, what could I do to build us a connection," She whispered taking my hair in hand. She is mad.
Eva chuckled lowly. "Right, you can't speak," Eva untied the fabric going around my neck then nodded signaling me to speak. "Fuck you," I spat.
Her smile fades a little. At that moment, I know I fucked up. Suddenly her hands grabbed my hair pulling it down and making me look up at her. My eyes started to blur from all the pain. "Listen here you little shit. I don't care how long it'll take but take my word. I will mend you. This ungrateful brat inside you will be gone and you'll learn how to respect us. Respect me,"
When I thought it couldn't get any worse, Eva dragged my strengthless body by my hair. The pressure she put in made my head spin. I'm surprised I'm still breathing and able to comprehend what's going on.
With more tears falling down my cheeks, Eva tossed me to the girls and gave them a look. I should've seen the signs. I should have known she was a fucking lunatic. Right outside the door, Eva pushed her hand down my throat. Whatever she pushed down must be a drug. I can feel the taste of bitterness in the back of my tongue.
"Rest well," Cricket laughed, tossing me inside the house and into a room. They gave me a creepy grin and then locked the door. I truly can't live like this anymore.
My whole body is limp. My eyes are all droopy and my mind is punching me.
With my last strength, I pushed my eyes to look around. Just cobwebs, dust bunnies, and all the other shitty things you encounter in a small closed space. How can someone be so mad?
