(A.N. I feel like this story sucks so far, but I'll continue writing and see how it ends up...)

Pete's P.O.V.

After about an hour of Mario Kart, we lied down on my bed to watch a movie.

No, nothing happened, he was just exhausted and we both decided to lay down.

"Would it be ok if I slept here?" he asked. His voice was gruffly, as if he just woke up. "Fine with me." I smirked as he snuggled back into the pillows.

When he fell asleep my stomach started to basically roar. It was so loud I had to grab my phone and walk downstairs so I wouldn't wake up Sleeping Beauty.

I checked my phone and it was already 7:26. Explains why my stomach was making mating calls. I walked to the kitchen and made some Ramen noodles, since that was the only thing I could make without burning the house down. I heard tiny footsteps as I sat down to eat.

"Hemingway, buddy, come eat." I filled his bowl up with some dog food. I grabbed my bowl and sat down by him. "Sorry I didn't feed you earlier, boy." I pet him as he licked my face. "Love you too." I laughed as I finished up my noodles. I got up to clean my bowl as I saw a sleepy Patrick standing by the stairway. His hair was messy, but he looked the same as when I left him.

Hemingway ran up to him and started to play with him. I was speechless. "H-Hemmy rarely likes anyone. So far he only likes me, but I think he's starting to like you." I said in awe. Patrick laughed and ran around with one of Hemingway's toys, as Hemmy followed.

"Want something to eat?" I couldn't stop smiling at him. "Nah, I think I'm actually going to head back home. I just got a text from my mom saying that my brother wants to see me." he scratched the back of his head. "You have a brother?" I thought he was an only child, I never met and/or saw his brother back before he moved away. "He just got back from a camp. It was like a jail kind of thing, which is kind of strange because he's just a sweetheart." he paused, "He should be at out school by next week if he is back for good. He'd be a senior by now. Sorry, I just missed him, I better get going." he smiled.

I think I'm falling in love, maybe it's just the fact that he's adorable, or maybe that he's so quiet and actually pays attention to things, and if he is passionate about something, he won't stop talking. I mean, we do have history, not like he remembers, but I kind of miss having him as a friend.

At this point I might as well be Stumpsexual, because damn.

Patrick's P.O.V.

When I came back downstairs I saw Pete talking to Hemmy.

"I know, I'm happy he's back too, buddy." he smiled as he pat Hemingway's head.

Back? He obviously wasn't talking about my brother. Or maybe he was? I guess I'll just leave it alone for now.

"Hey," I said as I walked down to the living room. I sat my backpack on the counter in the kitchen. "Hey, would you want to hang out some other time?" he asked. "Why, don't you think Brendon would just hate it if he found out that you were hanging out with the newbie?" I sighed. I mean, of course I would want to hang out with him again, he seemed nice, and like a cool guy.

"I couldn't give two shits about Brendon. Besides, he's a hypocrite. Everyone knows that he's totally gay for Ross." he seemed kind of apathetic about it, yet like it meant a lot to him. This kind of left me nonplussed.

"I better get going, I don't want to miss my brother before he leaves again." I studied him as he played with Hemingway. "So, is that a yes?" he looked up and smirked at me.

"Why not." I blushed and exited as I began my long walk home.
