Chapter 5

The sun raised,a sound of bird chirping can be heard. A new day has started,and so we continued our journey.

As soon as the sun shined the city,we leave from the tavern and headed to west,going to our last destination before entering the Illusion Forest.

Stellar are rather close in distance with Centaurus,with a few hours I'm sure we can arrive there.

There are lot of carriage passed by,both towards Stellar and Centaurus. Most of them are a Trader bringing their items to sell and trade.

Through the distance,A big kingdom can be seen. A sparkling sea beside it and a large deep forest behind it.
As me and Flare saw that glamorous scenery,she tighten her grip on my hand. I look at her and asked.

"What's wrong? We almost reached your home." I stopped my walk and so Flare.

"Nothing."

Not long after that,we reached Stellar Kingdom. A center of trade and market,a rich country,followed by their reign on sea. As we entered the country,we were amazed by how prosperous the citizen are.

It's packed with a lot of people in nice and well dressed clothes. The soldier are highly equipped,in ther chestplate can be seen a star symbol,perhaps indicating that they are from Stellar.

Me and Flare then take a tour around the kingdom while searching for a way to enter the Illusion Forest.

"May I help you?" A firm voice distracted us,in front of me standing a soldier around my height with his hand gripping the handle of his sword.

"Show me the way to Illusion Forest." I replied.

"Whose child is that?" The soldier gazed towards Flare.

"Mine." I put my hand in front of Flare,while she goes into the back of my body. Hiding from the soldiers. "She is sick,I'm looking for a medicine from the Illusion Forest. I don't care if it cost me my life. Just show me where is the way!"
"Mad man. I'm warning you,once you get there you can't never comeback,neither your child." He loosen the grip of his sword,and pointed me a direction. "Fucking Mercenaries."

We then headed to north way,leaving the market that filled with a lot of stalls and crowded with people.

We enter the alleyways between a bar and a building that have a sign of Shield.

As we go further,the air getting tensier and the path became more dark. We stepped further,at this point a mist appeared together with a sound of crows.

A dark narrow path,covered with a thick mist. The mist,it became more thick as me and flare goes further towards the north. The further we go,the more clear sound of wind that hit the leaves along with a sound of bird chirping and bush rustling.

"U-uncle,i-is this the right way?" Flare talked to me,with her voice trembled.

"Don't let go of my hand,hold still. We're gonna be alright." I tried to calm her.

"I'm scared." Flare tightly hug my lower body.

Suddenly,a strong wind hit us,ending Flare flying around in that dark narrow alleys.

"UNCLE!!!" She screamed filled with fear. Tears flow from her eyes.

The wind get more stronger as I try to reached for Flare,making my distance with her further.

My vision suddenly are annoyed too,making it hard to see inside my helmet. It getting worse,to the point it hurts me.

...

I throw my helmet out,making it fly away far from me. I then run as fast as I can,trying to catch Flare that flies because of the strong wind.

"UNCLE!!!!!!"

I jumped,throwing my body to the same direction as the wind flow,once again trying to reach for Flare.

..
...
....

"FLARE!" I breathe out as I succeed grabbing Flare's hand and pulled her towards me.

She tucked her head into my chest,her arm hold tight into my body,making me feel her fear towards the trembling of her whole body. She whimper as she keep calling my name.

I fall into my back,but luckily Flare have a smooth landing in my chest.

I lay on the ground,as I try to regain my composure and calm myself.

I tried to get up,but my whole body rejected. Instead,my eyes slowly started to close by itself...

...

The time I regain my consciousness back,I realize that me and Flare in a totally different place.

A sound of Crickets waken me up,the sun light pierce through the leaves. I lay in a refreshing green grass,the sound of Cicada ringing inside my ear. It remind me of summer.

The bird chirping,are now felt really close and real. I took a glance around me,realize that I might be inside the Illusion Forest.
The tall trees,and its leaves covered us from the hotness of sun ray,making it felt cold and warm underneath it. The light that pierce through the gap between the leaves,the gentle wind that hit us and a sound of river near by.

I look around,but all I can see are trees and bushes with a few big rocks.

Flare then wake up,asking me where we are.

"Where am I?"

"Take a look around,Flare. Do you familiar with this area?"

"T-this...WE MAKE IT!!!! IT'S MY HOME!!! IT'S CLOSE,UNCLE TATSUYA!!!"

Her eyes get widen once she realize where she are,she quickly get off from me and jumped around happily.

She then lend me her hand..

"Let's visit my home!"
