The Turning Point

After my brother's burial, the court granted my Pastor the right to take me in. I was gradually sleeping into depression when I suddenly received a call from my Pastor. His wife had called my aunt earlier and explained to her that they were taking me in. It felt like good riddance to her so she quickly agreed and simply did everything that was requested.

Living with my Pastor as his child, was one of the nicest moments of my life. I felt loved and experienced the gift of what a true family should look like, and gradually moved out of depression. I was enrolled in the University. Things started turning around, from negative to positive.

I graduated with a first-class degree in Human Resource Management and secured employment with a multi-million-dollar company, a year after my graduation.

On the day I officially commenced work, I received a call that my mom was out of coma. This was after five years. It was like a dream. It was a miracle. The most amazing part was having my mom witness my wedding. I married the friend of my pastor's son and eventually relocated with him to Switzerland. Indeed, God turned my sad story to a joyful adventure.
