"I didn't know who else to turn to" Lydia said.
"That's OK dear, what's going on?" Gwendoline said worriedly.
Lydia was upset after her conversation with Jane and didn't know what to do. She couldn't speak to Jenna about it because she didn't want to hurt her, but she had to confide in someone. The only other person who knew about them was Gwendoline so Lydia called her and asked her to come to her apartment, away from prying eyes and listening ears.
She explained to her what had happened and Gwendoline listened carefully.
"Can I ask...how serious are you and Jenna?" she said politely.
"Honestly? I don't know. We go on dates, spend most of our spare time together and we have amazing..." Lydia stopped herself from going into too much detail.
"You can say 'sex' in front of me dear" Gwendoline joked and Lydia laughed awkwardly.
"Well we do but it's not just about that. I don't know how she feels about me but I'm starting to develop feelings for her" Lydia confessed.
"Do you love her?" Gwendoline asked.
"I...I don't know. She means a lot to me. She gives me butterflies every time I see her. I just wanna fall asleep with her every night then wake up to her every morning. I want to give her everything she wants just to see her smile. I-"
Gwendoline stared at Lydia with raised eyebrows.
"Oh god...I love her, don't I?" Lydia realised.
Gwendoline just nodded.
"Oh fuck this makes things ten times worse!" Lydia said as she sat with her head in her hands. Gwendoline put her arm around her.
"Is there some way you can negotiate with your boss? Hand Jenna over to another agent maybe?"
"No, she says I keep her on the straight and narrow and I'm good at finding the right gigs for her".
Gwendoline paused, mulling over what advice to give this poor lovestruck young woman.
"I think you should tell Jenna how you feel".
"Really?"
"Yes, if she doesn't feel the same then you can move on and your job will be safe. If she does then you can plan your next move together".
Lydia sighed staring down at the floor deep in thought, Gwendoline was right.
"I worked so damn hard to get where I am, I moved away from my family and friends to be successful here. But I've never felt this way about anyone before...I've fallen for her" Lydia choked on the last few words.
"Oh love" Gwendoline said, bringing Lydia in for a reassuring hug.

Jenna was filming for most of the week and the production finally wrapped on Saturday. She and her co-stars went out to celebrate, it turned out to be another wild night that would most likely make it all over social media the next day.
Lydia meanwhile was struggling to sleep, tossing and turning for most of the night. At around 3:15am she was startled by her phone buzzing on the bedside table. It was Jenna.
"Hello?" Lydia answered.
"Heyyyy babe!" Jenna was very drunk.
"Jenna? Are you OK?"
"Yeah I'm fiiiiine! But could you pick me up please? We might've gotten kicked out of the club" she slurred.
"Why did you-? Nevermind. Can't you just call your driver?"
"I don't want my driver! I want you!"
Her bratty tone irritated Lydia but she couldn't just leave her drunk and stranded.
Lydia sighed and rubbed her eyes, "ugh fine! Where are you?"
"Uh..hey Mason! Where are we again? The what? What sign? Oh yeah I see it now!" Lydia rolled her eyes as Jenna giggled and started a conversation with someone else.
"Jenna!"
"Shit sorry! It's The...Blue Moon club".
"Ok stay there and I'll find you".
"Thanks babe! Love you!" and she hung up. Lydia gulped.
"Did she mean that?"

Lydia threw on the first set of clothes she could find and drove into the city to find Jenna. But even she didn't know where The Blue Moon club was so she had to rely on her sat nav.
She finally found Jenna laughing with her co-stars outside the club, she beeped the horn and Jenna wobbled over. Lydia looked around for any sign of the paparazzi, but even if they were here they always knew how to stay hidden.
"Heyyy!" Jenna said as she climbed in. She leaned over to kiss Lydia but she moved away.
"Oh god Jenna, you stink of booze!"
Jenna huffed and attempted to put her seatbelt on, she succeeded after three tries.
"Can we go back to your place? I'm so bored of that hotel" Jenna whined.
"Sure" Lydia mumbled and started to drive to her apartment. At least she could keep an eye on her there.

They didn't speak for the majority of the journey, the only thing breaking the silence was Jenna's hiccups. Lydia stifled a laugh every time she heard her squeak.
"What?" Jenna said, confused.
"Your hiccups...they're cute".
"Thanks!" and she hiccuped again.

They stumbled into the apartment and as soon as the door was closed Jenna grabbed Lydia's face and kissed her. She could taste the alcohol on Jenna's tongue and freed herself from her grasp.
"Stop it Jenna, you're drunk".
"Oh come on! Don't you love me?"
Lydia hesitated, she really didn't want to answer that question right now.
"Let's get you to bed" and she scooped Jenna up like had done before and carried her to the bedroom.
"Oh my hero! Take me to your chambers and have your wicked way with me!" Jenna said dramatically with her hand on her forehead like a damsel in distress.
"Very funny" Lydia said sarcastically.
She placed her on the bed and helped her take off her shoes.
"Get undressed and I'll get you some water".
"Ooo so demanding!" Jenna flirted. Lydia rolled her eyes then headed to the kitchen. She filled a glass with cold water and found some aspirin in the cupboard.
"She's definitely gonna need these in the morning" she thought.
When she went back to the bedroom Jenna was fast asleep and still wearing all of her clothes. Lydia left the glass of water next to her along with the aspirin and a plastic bin in case she needed to throw up. She knelt down beside Jenna and stroked her hair watching her snooze. She thought about her situation and Gwen's advice. Her heart ached at the thought of losing Jenna but she had a promising career ahead of her, she still didn't know what the hell to do.
"You're right, I love you" she whispered.
Jenna stirred in her sleep, "mmm love you too".
