Izuku had been in the hospital for a day already. And when he woke up he was already ready to go home.
Bakugo refreshed Midoriya's memory on everything that happened, leaving the boy in shock and fear of it happening again.

In which, when Izuku admitted this, Bakugo told him, "I'll always be here. Don't worry about something you cannot control." And it set Izuku's mind at ease. Hearing his Kacchan saying something so heartfelt.

The nurse told Izuku that he couldn't do hero work until they got his condition under control. Seeming as it was worse than it had been before..
She also pulled Bakugo aside and spoke with him, telling him to keep close eyes on the greenette and make sure he wasn't hiding anything more.

Midoriya was discharged Monday evening and Bakugo took him home. The boy breaking down in tears in the car as they drove home. He kept asking if he should tell his mom or keep it secret so she wouldn't worry.

Bakugo was silent, that decision wasn't his to make.

"Can we go see mom?.." he asked Bakugo, looking at the blond with tear stained cheeks, eyes red from crying all day.

"Of course." Bakugo said, taking a turn down a different road.

Seeing his mother seemed to calm his nerves a lot more. Inko immediately knew something was wrong when Izuku ran to her and hugged her, crying in her neck.

When he explained everything Inko looked to Bakugo, questioning him with her eyes only for him to nod. Izuku wasn't lying. It was true. He almost died a couple nights ago, and they weren't sure if it was gonna happen again.

But they wouldn't keep Izuku locked in a hospital room for the rest of his life, whatever he had left of it.

Thinking that broke something in Katsuki. The boy left to go outside and sit for a moment, rubbing his face and a hand through his disheveled spikes..This was going to be a rough run for all of them.

When Bakugo laid a sleeping Izuku in bed after they finally got back to his apartment, he sat on the boys bed. Staring down at him from the bedside as he watched his chest rise and fall.
'Stay with me, Izuku..'
His heart sunk, and he took the boys hand, wiping a tear from under his eye before it could drip.

"Thank you." He whispered before standing and leaving his bedside to get changed into something sleep appropriate after a much needed shower.

Bakugo didn't sleep good that night, or the night after that. He woke up in a cold sweat, and went over to Izuku's bedside, checking the pulse in his wrist. And sometimes he would sit there and watch the boy. Watching the way his chest rose and fell. It gave him peace at mind.

A week later he woke up to Izuku not being in bed. It scared him only for a moment when the scent of bacon and eggs came from the kitchen.

"He must be feeling better.." he whispered and stood, walking to the kitchen as he saw Izuku cooking eggs, bacon, and biscuits. Bakugo softly smiled and sat across from the greenette, watching him cook.

Izuku looked up and flinched, "Woah! When did you get there, Kacchan?" He asked with a small laugh, "I hope you're hungry. I made a lot....I was hungry when I woke up, so.." he trailed off, rambling per usual as he plated food for both of them. "But anyways, I just got finished."

Bakugo nodded and took his plate. "Maybe after you eat, you can go back to sleep....it's showing under your eyes, Kacchan." Izuku pointed to his under eyebags, motioning to Bakugo's.

"Yeah, just some bad dreams.." Bakugo mumbled and started to eat. "Holy shit, why haven't you been cooking everything? This is fuckin' delicious."

Izuku smiled and sat next to him, "I'm glad you like it." Izuku whispered happily.
