For the rest of the day, they all just kept talking about how much they missed each other.
After that, they had to go home.
Nancy decided to drop Max off, since she lived a bit farther.
>Max's POV
"Where were you?"
That's the first thing my mom says after I walk through the door.
"Uh- Wheeler's."
I responded, looking down.
"You're late."
She says threateningly.
"Sorry."
I quietly said.
"Whatever. Your father decided to come to Hawkins and take you to live with him. I couldn't care less, so you better pack your things because he'll be here next week. He's gonna live in the house in front of the Wheeler's."
She tells me.
I don't really like my dad, but he's not a drunk person who just tells me how much of a disappointment I am. That's my mom. He just doesn't give me a lot of attention.
Plus, I'll have my brothers, this is the best I could ask.
