"Do you wanna hear something crazy?" Tanner Whipple asked. I looked up from the sheet of paper our science teacher had handed out and nodded.
"Okay, so say you have a best friend." When he says that, I freeze, because even he notices that I have no friends. I know it's not hard to notice, but hearing it out loud sends shivers down my spine.
"She does, it's me." Tanner Sward said, jokingly. Both Tanners say their my best friend, and I'm positive it's a joke about the fact that I barely speak to anyone, therefore I must have no friends. And it really hurts to think so, but I don't say anything, because I couldn't even name three friends I had left.
"No, it's Allie." Dalton Kottmer said. Tanner Whipple shook his head. "Or Danek."
"Anyway, say you have best friend and you tell them something in confidence. Then they post it all over Snapchat, and kik all of their friends about what you said. That's fucked up, right?"
I nodded. "Yea, I guess that is pretty messed up." Good thing I don't have any. I thought. But of course, I didn't say too much.
"I thought so too."
It's odd that I literally didn't speak to my best friend for a whole year. I'm obviously a horrible human being. 😒😩
