Chapter Fifteen

Why?! Why had she agreed to this? Andi knew the reason why, a sneaky, emotionally manipulating little git by the name of AJ Brooks. The tiny, innocent looking woman was evil. Making sure that Andi was relaxed, vulnerable, by talking wrestling, sliding in a question subtly and putting on the most hurt-puppy expression possible, knowing that Andi couldn't say no to her. Andi had actually startled at her question at first but then looking at her closest friend, who proceeded to bribe her with wrestling merch and vowing to protect her and not leave her side, she gave in.

And that was how she found herself in AJ's room, Liv putting on an offensive amount of make up (after fighting her into a damn dress), Alexa straightening her hair, making sure to get every strand perfect, preparing her to go on an outing to a club. Andi had vowed to not go on these 'outings' when she read about them in the letter accepting her into the programme, but here she was being used as a bigger version of a barbie doll and trying to keep calm, despite the palpitations threatening to stop this before it starts.

Once the other women were satisfied, AJ clutched Andi's hand and they left the room, meeting the men in the lounge before setting off to the mini bus where all the trainees were dressed up, ready and waiting. When she entered the lounge her eyes straight away sought out Colby. He had just stood up next to Jon and by goodness he looked good! He is dressed in dark skinny jeans and a white button-down shirt that showed off his muscles in the most perfect way. His hair was tied back in a messy bun and he wore his glasses (she loved him wearing those glasses!). He looked to her and winked, which made her blush and look away. 'Don't stare!' she berated herself. She kept her eyes on AJ from that point on, God help her if she had a drink later. No! No drinking, she decided. On the bus they went...

Colby was awe struck. He was surprised at first, seeing Andi made up and in a dress of all things (he knew her extreme dislike). Liv had obviously gotten her hands on her, smoky eye make-up that made her blue eyes pop, hair straight and down, so he winked at her because he was teasing her (knowing that she was probably feeling tortured). It wasn't until she looked away and started walking with AJ that he really took her in. She was wearing a classic little black dress that showed off her new found curves with little heels and the make up really did bring out all of her best features. She looked, well... sexy.

At that realisation he couldn't seem to keep his eyes off her, he'd never looked at her that way before. When they got on the bus, he took the time to think of how she looked before they left the gym. Hair up in her usual messy bun, tee and shorts, glasses and no make-up whatsoever... he realised with astonishment that he still found her sexy, just in a cute way and not a 'I want to rip you clothes off' way. When the hell did that happen?

He made the decision at that moment that he would definitely be having a drink that night. He knew feeling this way about a trainee, scrap that, a woman that was married with a family was wrong. This needed to stop right now.

AJ had managed to lure Andi onto the dance floor and Andi was not comfortable in the slightest. AJ sensed this and held her hands, dancing about manically to distract her with laughter and that worked for a good while. That was until a seemingly drunken man decided that Andi was easy pickings and got handsy, despite AJ and the girls blocking him on three separate occasions. On the fourth, AJ handed Andi off to a furious looking Liv and disappeared, only to return with an equally angry looking Jon. Jon took Andi into his arms, swaying her and muttering calming words whilst staring the man down. The man backed off eventually but was still close by to Jon's annoyance.
