She’s lost in her thoughts, staring into nothingness. There are a lot of things going on in her mind. She’s trying hard to stop her thoughts, but she’s unable to do so. The bad incidents are coming back over and over again. She’s Isha Mehra. Her heart is burning, she’s hurt mentally, and it’s affecting her appearance.
Isha is the kind of person who loves wholeheartedly. She cares for peolple more than herself, and she lets go of the little things or trifles that usually happen. But she can’t accept any wrongs done to her. If she can be sweet to you, she can also be dangerous. She’s always ready to protect herself and her loved ones.
This time, she’s badly hurt. Well, not in a relationship, but in a friendship. The friendship of many years is now ablaze, and the other person does not care about it.
Yeah! The other person is very diplomatic and says things that do not exist. They presume things that don’t exist. They tell stories that never happened and create distance all by themselves. Then they blame others for the same. This has hurt Isha a lot.
“Isha, stop thinking! Will overthinking solve the problems?” Another feminine voice falls into her ears.
“I just can’t let it go, Ishi Di.” Isha breaks her silence.
“And what do you think? Will that person realize their mistake? Why are you punishing me by staying silent and just thinking?” Ishi, aka Ishani, says this, looking into her sister’s eyes.
Isha and Ishani are real sisters and hold immense love for each other. Being the elder one, Ishani is very protective and caring of her younger sister. She can’t bear tears in Isha’s eyes. Currently, Isha is in pain due to someone who has been of great importance to her.
“Ishi Di, you know me. I ignore every little thing, but it hurts me a lot at the same time. I am accused of something I never did.” Isha says her voice is teary.
“Isha, I understand. But when that particular person is not ready to understand, what can you do? You’d carry the worries in your head? Why do you want to waste your time on that girl? What’s her name? Yeah, Mahi. She doesn’t deserve your time.” Ishani says it annoyingly.
“Di, I loved her with all my heart. Still, she did this to me. You tell me, where did I go wrong?” Isha asks, holding Ishani’s hand in hers.
“No, you’re not wrong. Some people think of themselves, their emotions, and everything that surrounds them. We’re not that kind. Don’t you remember what Kia did with me?” Ishani looks at her sister.
“She was very rude to you, Di. She burned the friendship with her own hands. I hate Kia!” Isha makes an annoyed face.
“Sometimes, some relationships need to die, Isha. The forged friendships will always reside in our memories, but those will be the good times that we have spent with our friends. We must keep the good memories in our hearts.” Ishani says.
“You’re right, Di. But I just can’t imagine that she will accuse me of not giving her time or of changing myself. I have my own work to do; I can’t sit and talk to her. I’ve even prioritized Mahi over you, Di. It’s all worthless." Isha says this and breaks into tears.
Ishani embraces her sister in her arms and tries to pacify her. Yeah, she might not be in pain physically, but the mental blaze that she’s going through is equivalent to physical pain. They might be distant, but their love isn’t. Isha didn’t think in her wildest dreams that she would be blamed for things she never did.
“Ishu, I understand the pain. Mental pain is more dangerous than physical pain. And you know, I can’t lose you. Would you lose yourself to one person? There are many people who love you.” Ishani looks at her sister.
“It’s just that I can’t get it out of my head,” Isha says, keeping her head on her sister’s shoulder.
“You have to let it go! It was hard for me too, but I did. Why can’t you? I can’t lose you to someone who doesn’t value you. If Mahi had some respect for you or if she valued you, this condition wouldn’t have come up.” Ishani says.
“ Yeah. This friendship is meant to be broken, I guess. It’s been so many days; she must’ve realized by now. But no, I am wrong. It’s her way — what she does is right, and what I say or do is wrong.” Isha says.
She wipes off the tears and takes a deep breath. She looks at her sister and promises not to even cry for the person who meant a lot to her. Ishani smiles at her decision.
Sometimes, it’s better to let the relationship burn into ashes. That’s the fate of it!
