Love happens when you least expect it. Similarly, some bonds deepen within no time, and you don't realise it, that they become an integral part of your life. Such relationships are beautiful and they last for a lifetime. They might fade, but they don't break. And individuals who embrace such beautiful bonds as the luckiest one in the world. I believe myself to be one of them, for I've found her. She fills all the voids I feel, but right now, she's quite upset with me. I don't know how to get her back, in my life.
She's Maya Oberoi, an ace lawyer, no nonsense woman who lives her life on her own terms. And she's missing her friend and confidante of last one year. Though, they have a three years gap between them, yet they bond like besties, and talk everything and nothing. The past one year has been full of thrill, love and laughter, while since two months, they've been distanced.
She's sitting on the bed, smearing the entry she has just made in her diary. Maya reflects on the happenings of past two months, and it only pains her - the absence of that one person is hurting her, and she's unable to concentrate on her work. Meanwhile, a masculine voice cuts through the silence in the room.
"Maya, tum kab tak aise pareshan rahogi? Why don't you talk to her?" It's Sameer, Maya's fiance.
"Sameer, tum jaante ho na, vo mujhse bahut naraaz hai, aur kitna samjhaya tha usey, lekin wo kuch samajhne ke liye taiyar hi nahi hai," Maya says, her tone heavy with emotion.
