Season 1 episode 7

'You spent all of that money in one day JJ are you kidding me' Pope yelled at him

He didn't need another lecture or yelling not after the events with his dad today

'You could or paid for restitution with that money' he continued

'Or given it to literally any charity' Kie interrupted

He sighed running his hands over his face
'Okay you know what I didn't do that... I got a hot tub for my friends... you know what screw friends I got a hot tub for my family' he shouted back standing up in the hot tub

Kiara and Pope seen the bruises all over his body and immediately knew what had gone on

'JJ' Kie muttered

'It's fine Kie no ... it's fine just get in' he stuttered as he started to break down again

She lept forward over the side of the hot tub in to his arm comforting him and his arms snaked around her he couldn't help by sigh in to her

'I can't take him anymore ... I was gonna kill him' he sobbed in tears in to her hair and shoulder

'Hey I know it's okay it's okay' she uttered back running her hands through his hair

She didn't know how much her being there doing that was helping him and he wrapped his arms around her tighter than before his lips finding her shoulders burying in to her

He opened his eye slightly and saw the look on Popes face and he knew he knew

Pope looked on to the scene in front of him and as he clicked eyes with JJ he knew that his best friend was in the arms of the girl he loved more than anything even though he would deny it he couldn't be mad at it

JJ shook the thoughts out of his head when he felt her face bury in to his neck and sighed in to her never wanting to let her go

'Pope can you go raid the first aid kit in there and a bowl of hot water' she asked quietly as she rubbed his back

He just nodded in agreement and made his way in to the house leaving them outside

Once he heard the door shut behind them JJ wrapped his arms around her tighter than he already was 'thank you Kie' he whispered in hair hair and automatically felt her shiver causing him to stop

He pulled away from her so his face was directly in front of hers, he felt her hands slowly slide from the top of his neck down his arms and back to her sides causing him to gulp as his eyes flickered down to her lips and back

A move she clearly seen as she caught her breath 'Jayj' she whispered as he moved closer to her within inches only to be broken out of it by the door opening again

He heard her sigh as he bounced back from her lightly cursing to himself
