Looking at the cop cars roll pat with their lights on gave them slight hope that John B was still out there

'If we're going to be outlaws we might aswell help John B... I'm gonna go get gas for the boat' Pope said as he made his way to the door glaring at Kie on the way out JJ notices

'Be careful .. okay' she attempted to say

Ignoring her he turned to JJ 'meet me at the dock at 3 don't be late' before storming down the stairs and riding off on his bike

He turns to look at Kie across the table 'what the hell was that about' he asked confused

She shook her head at him as she walked over to him 'on his high horse last night he told me he was in love with me ... and I had to let him down... he isn't taking it very well'

He wasn't expecting that and just blinked at her for a second what the hell was Pope thinking 'wow okay well listen don't worry about it okay he will get over it we have all been there we all had a thing for you that we had to deal with so he will deal with it and come back with his tail between his legs because he's an idiot' he said trying to ease her

She looked at him confused 'you all had a thing for me that you had to deal with' she repeated

He winced at his own words 'shit ... Kie you know we all did we ... well me and John B just knew it wouldn't happen well John B took his chance and that got him nowhere obviously so we just dealt with it in our own ways and Pope will too'

She blinked at him for a second 'what about you then JJ' she asked looking at him

Gulping to himself 'what about me' he asked avoiding her gaze

She shrugged 'when did you get over it if you just assumed it wouldn't happen' she asked

He took his hat off scratching his head trying to get out of this question some how without her knowing 'uhh well you see...' he started only to be interrupted by her very angry looking parents

Pulling up outside his place really set him on edge

Chuckling to himself 'home sweet home' he nervously said

She seen how scared he was to go near his house 'do you want me to come... because I'll come' she said softly putting her hand lightly over his not to freak him out

Without thinking he grabbed on to her hand while his other went through his hair and sighed to himself 'Nahh nahh this will only take a second keep it running' he said getting out of the car

Walking up the steps he could feel his breath getting faster taking one more look at her then heading inside

Less than 10 minutes later she heard the front door bust open to see him charging to the car she could tell he had been crying

He got in the car next to her slowing his breathing down trying to pull himself together

'How'd it go' she asked gently

He held his head up unable to control his emotions showing her the key in his very shaky hand looking over at her

She met his eyes sighing to herself starting to drive away but also keeping one of her hands on his to try and ease him
