As Avizandum flew into the Storm Spire, he felt the human on his tongue get weaker. He landed on the platform, looking down at the eight elven Dragon Guard and watched them bow with joy seeing that he was alive.
"My king you survived," said a female Sunfire Elf who carried a curved Sunforge blade, while her male kin member approached Avizandum ready to heal him, seeing that he had a patch of blood in the corner of his mouth.
But everyone froze as Avizandum opened his mouth and revealed a young human who was on the verge of death. A pair of Moonshadow Elves ran forward grabbing the human boy and the staff out of Avizandum's mouth as he swallowed his saliva. A wave of whispers come from the Dragon Guard as they all try to get a peak at the boy. For many of them, this is probably the first time they have seen a human.
"This human mage saved my life and he needs medical attention," Avizandum stated as the elves looked up at him in shock.
"He did what?" said a male Skywing Elf, sounding surprised.
"Isn't he a dark mage?" asked the male Sunfire Elf.
"Draven, you heard the king, the boy is dying." The female Moonshadow Elf started closely examining the human boy.
Draven looked over at the human mage before sighing, wondering what makes this one special other than the fact he saved Avizandum.
"Other than he saved you, what makes this human so special?" asked a female Skywing Elf.
"Because this human is quite possibly the first human Sky mage." This announcement made all of the elves become silent with surprise and looked up at Avizandum in amazement.

There's a large cavern inside of the Storm Spire, standing in the entryway at the top of a flight of stairs. Veins of blue metal ran across the rocks while a hole in the ceiling allowed sunlight to flow in and illuminate the area. The ground sprouted a collection of crystals, flowers, bushes, and grass. There's a verdant cushion of soft moss and flowers where the Dragon Prince's egg is laying. Sierra smiled softly as she glanced at the egg of King Avizandum and Queen Zubeia. It's a beautiful sight to behold. It's a translucent egg as big as a human head shimmered and sparkled from a verdant cushion of soft moss and flowers. Its iridescent blues, pinks, golds, and greens lit up the lair with a soft, magical glow.
Sierra is the only Sky Flenimu in the Storm Spire and was the only member of the Dragon Guard staying with the Dragon Prince's egg in the lair by herself. When her mother was trying to fight off a terrible disease called Dragon Scale, Sierra remembered being with General Amaya, Commander Gren, Corvus, and the legion. General Amaya has taken Sierra on trips that has been helpful for her sharpening her survival skills her general had taught her and when Sierra's mother was busy — how to navigate, how to camp, how to make a fire, how to sword fight, and how to do archery. Amaya is a great general and a practical warrior. She had access to the best soldiers in Katolis, and she'd wanted her newest and youngest recruit to learn the basics of defending herself. She had an idea of how much aptitude Sierra would demonstrate, and how much she enjoys it.
After she had lost her mother, Amaya searched for Sierra for months. Stumbling across her by chance in the forest's river and unable to even comprehend her mentor's words. The deaf general had tried for days to get through to her, begging her to come home, to just listen. But Sierra had just remained in denial and unresponsive.
Eventually, the general had enlisted the help of Gren. If at any moment during that time Sierra could've seen sense, the kind commander was the one that had gotten the closest to breaking through to her. The commander had spoken to her gently and calmly and after days had coaxed her out of the forest and had gotten her to follow them into the nearest village (in which is the place that Sierra was born and partially raised in).
But Sierra had refused to return to the Breach with the Standing Battalion, heavy with grief and loneliness she had returned to the mountain village where she had decided to work as a stablehand and refused any visitors. Eventually, General Amaya stopped trying. Sierra was left alone to wallow in grief and loneliness, just like she had wanted.
But when her dulled spirit called out for adventure, Sierra went through Cursed Caldera and ended up meeting Lujanne, a Moon mage and Guardian of the Moon Nexus. Sierra was shocked to learn that she's actually a Sky Flenimu who was unknowingly hidden under a illusion spell and her father is a Skywing Elf mage.
By that time, Sierra have traveled to Xadia with a Stormwolf named Tempest. When she met Avizandum and Zubeia they both decided to spare her life and let her become a Dragon Guard, especially since she's the daughter of Ibis. After they understood that Sierra's mother saved Ibis's life when he crashed landed and they both fell in love with each other.
Sierra snapped out of her memories when she heard footsteps coming towards her direction and perked up warily. She was surprised to see Lain and Tiadrin carrying a wet, unconscious human boy. Sierra blinked in surprise and watched as the Moonshadow Elf couple carried him to the sick room.
"A human?" Sierra was surprised and confused with the sight of the human. "What in the heck happened out there?"
"This human saved King Avizandum," explained Tiadrin to her.
"How did he do that?" Sierra looked confused and gazed at the human's face in confusion.
"He managed to connect with the Sky Arcanum." Lain and Tiadrin both carried on with their task by bringing the boy into the healing quarters.
She watched as the earth shook slightly as King Avizandum walked into the lair and bowed to him. "Hello Your Majesty."
Avizandum smiled at her warmly. "Hello Sierra."
"Is it okay if I ask what happened outside?" asked Sierra curiously as the Dragon King laid down in the nest, close to his egg.
"The human boy you have seen had saved my life from whatever dark magic that the dark mage have conquered up in the staff," explained Avizandum. "Not just that, but he's the first human Sky mage I've seen in years."
