Domestic Story 1: Father/Daughter Date

Eli had long days, that was no secret.

She'd wake up, check on Tenko (which she still has to occasionally do in the night), shower, dress, and then repeat this with Kota and Tenko. Sometimes though, Tenko would be stupidly unhappy about waking up in the morning so she had to bring him with her on the occasion.

Touya and Keigo would usually help, but nowadays they spent their time outside of being heroes, playing whatever role the kids needed. Then, Eli would make sure everyone ate something before she or Hizashi was off to drop Kota and Eri off at school.

Depending on the day of the week, Tenko would go to Rei (which was usually Thursday and Friday), and Eli would go to work. She spent her mornings attending classes, assisting Shouta,  Toshinori, Hizashi, or even Nemuri. Once classes were done, Eri, Kota, and Tenko would be back. Eli would then report to Nezu, do some presidential work, and most importantly, answer emails.

Oh, those were the worst. She loved her students, truly, but they had a habit of asking questions about every single thing. Usually, she was way more patient, but she was starting to realize that they literally just weren't reading the entire assignment.

Sometimes she would attend and even help make dinner for different classes and different departments. Some days she was at the Development Studio helping students and attending to hero costume requests from students. On other nights she was at her own workshop tweaking her own stuff and working on other hero's costumes. Some days she was called to Hero Agencies to meet with heroes and begin fittings for their costumes and consults for what they wanted and other days she went to check on the hospital under the management of  , sometimes accompanying Rei who still had bi-weekly mental health checkups.

So, it was fair to say, Eli was a pretty busy person.

Ren knew this better than anybody. This was mostly because back when she used to work at his tattoo shop, working around her schedule was some of the most challenging managing he'd ever done. Eli although, had proved to be worth the bit of trouble.

This weekend, Eli was home from the dorms. Ren had called to see if she was up to something as he always did. He'd figured that she usually had a little time during the day to talk to him and talk she did.

She went on and on about the kids and everything she had to do. There was of course a tired drone in her voice, but Ren could quite literally hear the smile on her face whenever she got to talking about what the kids had been up to.

"E?" Ren called out, interrupting her story about Bingo and the water hose.

"Hm?" she hummed, shuffling around on her side of the call, no doubt keeping herself busy like she always did.

"Cancel everything you have to do tomorrow and give the tinies to those other two lovebirds," Ren said, a yawn breaking from his mouth as he stood up in his living room.

"I'm actually not even sure that's possible," she said.

"Great, I'll see you then,"

"Wait-"

He hung up, smiling brightly to himself as he began to make calls to make further plans. He even sent Eli a text telling her to be ready by 12pm.

Text Thread:

firstchild - what kind of attire we talking ?

PApa - casual, but no pajamas

firstchild - noted .

Ren left it at that. He spent the rest of the night on the internet, finding things for them to do, and making calls. He even took care to call Keigo and Touya to ensure that Eli had told them that she needed them to look after Kota and Tenko alongside keeping an ear out for the other kiddies in the home, depending on who had decided to come home for the weekend.
