Unknown to her mother's story, Maya only had one thing on her mind: her little sister. Priya had always shown signs of being unable to protect herself, and since kids bully people like Priya, Maya knew instantly she was put on this Earth to protect her little sister.
When a witch with a letter arrives, Maya realised that maybe along with protecting her sister, she was put on this Earth to protect people along with her friend Harry Potter.
The shadows and secrets lurking in Hogwarts have yet to be discovered, and it was only a matter of time before the two dug too deep into the walls. It was only a matter of time before the two needed to face the past their parents once had.
It felt like holding the person you love's hand, and facing the world together.
And in a way, it was.

alrighty!! hope you're all excited for this like I am but I'm finally gonna try and complete this fic! although motivation is a pain in the ass, I honestly wanna complete maya's story since although she's simply a character, she means so much to me like Apollo does.
this fic is obviously gonna move away from canon since maya is quite an impactful individual but hopefully I won't mess it all up!
but here's some trigger warnings before reading memento mori: this story includes many, many mature themes such as ...
