"HOW are you beating me? You don't even know how to play this game, Maggie!" Jeremy frustratedly stated as he reached over Magnolia and tried to snatch her controller from her.
Magnolia laughed as she moved over out of Jeremy's reach. "It's called skill. You just press random buttons." she retorted.
Jeremy rolled his eyes and continued to play the game with Magnolia, until the doorbell rang. He then paused the game and went to go get the door. When he opened the door, Vicki was outside. "What are you doing here?" Jeremy asked her.
"I was thinking maybe I can make one more wrong choice today. I still have 17 minutes." Vicki smiled as she stepped towards Jeremy, but Jeremy stepped back.
"Sorry, Vick, but I have company and Maggie and I have to get back to our game." Jeremy smiled at her.
Vickie widened her eyes in shock, "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just going to go."
Jeremy nodded as he watched Vicki walk away, before he closed the door. "Wasn't expecting that to happen." he chuckled as he walked towards the couch, where Magnolia was.
"If you wanted her to stay, I could've left. My dad is supposed to be here soon anyway." Magnolia offered, but Jeremy shook his head.
"You can't leave until I beat you in this game." Jeremy stated as he held up his controller.
"Well, you are going to be out of luck, my dad is pulling up soon." Magnolia with a grin, shrugged her shoulders.
"Hey, Maggie! I told your dad it's fine if you want to stay the night!" Jenna yelled from the top of the stairs.
Magnolia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "What? Why isn't he coming? Is everything alright?" she asked Jenna. Magnolia knew her dad wouldn't dare let her spend the night over the Gilbert's house, something must have been wrong.
