Chapter nine:Dreaming

"What's wrong with you, boy?"Pips foster father coldly asked "Wh-what do you mean?" Pip replied anxiously "Your teacher called and said you've been refusing to participate in class entirely, we don't put you in school just for you to fail" His mother told him as she walked into the kitchen where they were "I'm sorry father..I've just been stressed out lately but I swear I will get everything on track"

"You better, or we're sending you back to the shelter" the mother said rolling her eyes as she started cook dinner, Pip nodded leaving the kitchen and walking upstairs to his room. Pip was truly exhausted from holding everything together, he quickly changed into his pajamas which were a baby blue colored archery print pajama set, and threw himself onto his bed.

He got comfortable under the covers and began to relax, beginning to fantasize about being with Damien, which was something he developed into after Damien was taken away.

"And this one is you and me if we were married! we would have a pretty house in England and would have lots of pet bunnies!" Pip squealed out to Damien, who was laying on his shoulder taking pictures of his drawing "do we only have pet bunnies, why not kittens too?" he said as he made the drawing his phone background.

Pip giggled at the question and picked up his orange crayon "Okay then we may have a kitty cat, maybe even a hamster!"he explained as he drew a hamster on the drawing in between the boys legs,the other boy smiled and hugged Pip tightly "I can't wait until the day we get married, we'll have the biggest and funnest after party ever!" Damien said kissing Pips cheek right after.

Pip laughed softly to himself as he laid onto his side and looked out his window.

"This part of the mountain is very beautiful, we're almost there" Pip told Damien as they hiked "Okay, hopefully there's a decent spot to sit down in since my legs are killing me" Damien replied making them both laugh slightly. After about 10 minutes the made it to the spot, which was a small cave.

The was a small cave filled with flowers and vines, a homemade fire pit,and blankets and pillows everywhere.Damien was amazed to say the least "Fuck man, this is so cool!" Pip giggled at the praise, hugging Damien from behind as a thanks "Thank you dearie, I have lots of secret comfort spots in the outdoors since I'm often all alone" He said picking Damien up and spinning him around, making him laugh.

Pip put him down after a few seconds but Damien simply stared at him, his cheeks turning pink "What is it Damien?"Pip asked in the usual sweet voice Damien loved. The other boy said nothing and quickly pecked Pip on the lips, covering his mouth after "Aw Damien,you could've just asked me" Pip replied giggling, he grabbed Damien's face and kissed him properly making Damien squeal with both happiness and embarrassment.

"Oh Satan, why did you take him from me?" Pip said to himself as if he were talking to Satan, he grabbed the pink stuffed bunny that Damien won for him at the fair and cuddled it "At least I have SOMETHING to remember him by, to make me feel like he's still here"Pip hugged the toy and drifted off to sleep, knowing no matter how much he slept he would still be exhausted.
