Chapter seventeen:What's outside..?

Pip quietly sung a favorite song of his, 'the world we knew', while he gently brushed Damien's hair. Damien was sitting in front of Pip had his eyes closed as he listened to the peaceful singing, grunting in pain from time to time since he was not used to his hair being brushed at all.

"Hold still dearie" Pip said cutting off his singing for a second "But it fucking hurts" Damien whined while opening his phone and opening Roblox. The blonde rolled his eyes "Well that's because you don't brush your hair" he said as he finished up brushing, Pip hugged Damien tightly from behind him and leaned over to kiss him on the cheek "But you will from now on, you have no choice" he giggled out, laying his head on Damien's shoulder and closing his eyes.

Damien smiled softly "Fine" he yawned before continuing "I'm like really fucking tired" Pip sighed "well that's what happens when you stay up all night watching creepypasta animations on YouTube" he said as he dragged Damien up from the floor and making him lay on the bed "If you're tired then get some sleep" Pip lifted up the blanket and tucked Damien in "Sleep well" He kissed Damien's head which made him smile, then turn over onto his side and drift off to sleep.

"Maybe I should make the eyes baby pink, with white rings around the pupils" Pip quietly said to himself as sketched out some beautiful and magical fairies🧚‍♀️ in his sketchbook "And maybe I can do black and brown hair, in a fancy highlight pattern-"he was cut off by Damien's shivering. Pip realized he had left the window open "Oh dear, it's cold tonight" he said as he got up to close the window.

Pip walked over and grabbed the top of the window shield, dragging it down. When the window was completely down he was suddenly startled by a force hitting the window "Oh dear!" Pip shrieked as he jumped back in shock, he grew scared as he saw a faint dark figure hovering in front of the window,just staring. The boy felt like crying out of fear, but then slightly calmed down when he saw it went away.

"Pip..? what happened?.." Damien asked as he woke up to Pips scream, it sure was a miracle that Pips parents were out of town on vacation. Pip swallowed and took a breath before speaking "Th-there was something..out-tside" he said breathing heavily as he curled up, bringing his knees to his chest and hugging himself. Damien got out of bed and hugged Pip, staring at the window right after "What the fuck is happening.." he said rubbing his lovers head while staring off in confusion.
