Chapter nineteen:Confusion and fear

Pip has been really out of it ever since his past lover arrived to South Park. The authorities found out about Estella after she was caught sleeping behind a public library, so the authorities of South Park being the authorities of South Park did zero questioning about her running away and simply just put her in foster care and now have her attending South Park Elementary.

Damien wasn't doing so well either after Pip told him what had happened, he was honestly really scared. The girl that used to wack Pip in the head with a log almost daily was now going to their school, and it was worse since she was seemingly gaining popularity. Since Estella was always very beautiful all the other girls at school liked her for that, always complementing her and trying to have friendly conversations with her.

It was a week into Estella's arrival on a Friday and the two boys were on their way to school. When they arrived they saw Estella talking to Wendy Testaburger, the two were just chatting when Estella noticed the boys looking at them. Pip and Damien quickly turned away from her and started walking in the other direction, while Estella glared at them.

"How the fuck did you ever like her? she's creepy as shit" Damien said as they walked into the boys washroom, Pip looked at him with a 'are you dumb?' Look on his face "Well I liked her because she was beautiful, and where I was living I had nothing else going on.." Pip said as he stood in front of the bathroom mirror and brushed his fingers through his hair "Well yea but like, couldn't you go after that Pocket kid?" Damien replied sarcastically making Pip roll his eyes "I wouldn't go after my roommate who I have no romantic interest in" the English boy said brushing off his clothes.

The two left the washroom and went to class. Estella was surrounded by some of their male classmates who were asking her a ton of questions like where she was from or why she came to South Park, she was simply ignoring him as she sketched her old home in her notebook. Pip did feel a bit bad the boys wouldn't leave her alone but he was trying his best not to engage with her, so he simply avoided looking in her direction at all cost.

Throughout the lesson, Pip could feel Estella looking at him every so often. Eventually Pip got tired of being oblivious so he turned his head to look at her, the two locked eyes for a bit and Pip felt frozen. Estella looking bit sad began to smile lightly and then looked back down at her notebook, satisfied that Pip finally acknowledged her. Pip took a deep breath and looked back at the lesson, with Damien glaring at the girl for making Pip so uncomfortable.

"Maybe she'll eventually get the message and go back to England" Damien told Pip as they walked into the library for lunch, Pip simply shrugged "I'm not so sure, she seems pretty serious about staying here" he said as they sat down in their usual corner of the library. Damien sighed as he laid down on the carpeted floor, Pip sat down next to him and began to dig through his bag for his Harry Potter book "Maybe after some time she'll understand I don't want to be with her anymore" the English boy said opening his book up to where he left off.

Damien groaned and rolled onto his back "So you're saying we have to wait until that happens? fuuuuck" the demon whined rubbing his eyelids lazily, making Pip laugh slightly. Around the time lunch was about to end Pip decided to head to the bathroom before class started, So Damien walked to class early while Pip headed to the bathroom. After Pip finished doing his business he walked out off the bathroom and walked to class,or at least he tried to.

while Pip was walking past the stairwell all of a sudden a huge force crashed into him, making him go flying down the stairs,and hitting the ground. The boy whined in pain as he felt on his wrist which was most definitely broken, after a few seconds of being on the ground a teacher came over to see what was going on "Kid, what happened?" the staff asked kneeling down and lifting Pip up. Pip took a deep breath before speaking "I-I was pushed down the stairs.." he said as he gently grabbed his wrist and rubbed it.

"Did you see who pushed you?" the teacher asked while looking at the stairwell, Pip turned to see if the person was still there but there wasn't anyone in sight. Disappointed, Pip turned his head towards the teacher and shook his head no, he held his broken wrist close to his chest and leaned his head down, almost as if he were protecting it. The teacher nodded and lifted Pip up from the ground entirely, taking him to the nurses office.

Pip was anxious the whole time he was waiting in the nurses office for his foster parents, since he knew they would have to take him to the hospital, which they definitely wouldn't be happy about. After a bit of waiting Damien snuck in to see Pip, as he was of course worried for his boyfriend "Pip are you okay? what the fuck happened?" Damien quietly asked as he walked towards Pip "I was pushed down the stairs by someone, I don't know who though" Pip answered as he carefully hugged Damien, as his wrist was still in a lot of pain.

"I bet it was Estella, I keep telling you she's crazy" Damien said as he used his powers to put gentle heat over Pips wrist to soothe it, Pip hummed with content as he felt a bit of pain lessen "Thank you Damien" he said closing his eyes and laying down on the hard bed "No problem Philip-" Damien was cut off by the nurse scolding him "Get back to class Thorn" She said as she sat back down at her desk.

Damien groaned but did as he was told "Ugh fine" He kissed Pips cheek and said his goodbyes, then angrily left. About 20 minutes later Pips foster parents arrived, when they walked into the office they had an annoyed expression on both faces. "So remind us what happened exactly?" Pips foster father asked the nurse "He was thrown down the stairs by an unknown student, and we can tell that his rist has been broken" The nurse told them while looking at her chart idk lmao.

The parents nodded and got Pip signed him out, the three left the building and got into the car on the way to the hospital. "Are you guys mad?" Pip asked when they made it to the hospital "Just be quiet so that this won't take long" Pips foster mother said in her usual cold tone as she opened the car door and yanked Pip out. "It's not to bad of a fracture, So It'll take up to three to four months for it to fully heal" Said the doctor as he handed a sheet of paper to Pips foster parents.

"Alright thank you" the mother said taking the paper before being escorted out. The 'family' left the hospital and drove home, when they arrived and entered the house Pip was immediately yanked by the hair and wacked in the head by his foster mother "Do you have any idea how much that hospital bill cost you stupid child!" she yelled before slapping him in the face "B-But mother it wasn't my fault! somebody pushed me!" Pip shrieked in both pain and fear,making his foster father pull him back from his hair "Well maybe if you weren't such a fucking freak wouldn't of happened!" the man yelled angrily.

The father let go and pushed Pip in the direction of the stairs "Go to your fucking room, and don't come out for the rest of the weekend." He said sternly making Pip shakily nod with with fear, he quickly grabbed his belongings and ran upstairs and closed the door. He walked over to his bed and carefully laid down, he laid on his side with good hand under his pillow and the broken hand pulled close to his chest. Pip wondered why everything was going so bad right now since it was going so well before, maybe it had to do with the way of life, or maybe the fact that the student who pushed Pip wasn't a student, or a human at all for that matter.
