Chapter twenty-two:Threat

"Mkayyy so what seems to be the problem Pip?" Mr Mackey asked Pip, who was anxiously sitting across from him with Damien by his side "W-Well I was in the bathroom..and I uh-" he paused for a second and gagged as he felt sick, Damien rubbed his back in attempt to make him feel better "Thank you.." Pip whispered to Damien before speaking "I was washing my hands and..and when I-I looked in the mirror I uh..I uhm..saw myself in a very scary way.." he said close to tears.(ik Pip canonically isn't sensitive but like y'all would be scared too if you saw urself looking like Pennywises barbecue😶)

Mr Mackey hummed like the dumbass he is before speaking "I think you've got to be more specific mkay Pip?" he said holding his hands together. Pip sighed before speaking "When I saw me I was very..ripped up, I was bloody all over,and my lower half was almost destroyed and missing" he swallowed and avoided eye contact with the staff  "It terrified me.." Pip said bringing his knees to his chest and hugging himself.

"Mkay so do you have any idea what could've caused you to see that creepy sight?" Mr Mackey asked making Pip shrug "I don't know, I guess I've been really stressed out late-lately" he said pouting a bit. Damien raised his hand and patted Pip on the back, Mr Mackey then spoke "Mkay so I think what you need to do is go out in the sun, drink some more water, and get a better amount of sleep mkay?" he said stupidly cuz he's the biggest dumbass ever🙃.

"That doesn't seem right" Damien said giving Mr Mackey the look of disappointment "No it is, healthy routines and hydration will fix Pip right up" Mr Mackey said writing down a pass for the two boys "Now get back to class you two" he said as he held the pass out,which Damien grabbed annoyed. The boys left the office and walked through the hallway "Well that guy is fucking useless" Damien said holding Pips hand and leading him out of the building "Uh Damien are we skipping school?" Pip asked as he was being dragged.

Damien nodded "Yea I'm gonna get you some ice cream" he said pulling out his phone and looking up the nearest ice cream shop on google maps cuz he always forgets. "Can I get one mint and one chocolate?" Damien asked the worker, who laughed a bit at his squeaky voice "Sure, that'll be 4.55" the worker said before taking the five dollar bill from Damien's hand. Pip sat in one of the booths just scrolling through Damien's phone, Damien came over and sat down.

"What time is it Pip?" Damien asked laying his head on his crossed arms "It's 1:36 pm Damien" Pip answered handing the phone back to Damien, who simply pushed it back to Pip "You can use it it's fine"He said before getting up when he was called for the ice cream. Damien came back and placed the cups of ice cream in front of them "Boom we got the ice cream, let's eat" Pip laughed softly as he saw Damien begin to eat the ice cream like there was no tomorrow.

After a few hours of relaxing Pip had to go home, so the two said there goodbyes and went to home. Damien walked to Gregory's house and knocked on the door, About half a minute later Gregory opened the door "Oh there you are Damien,come on inside" he said letting Damien pass. The boys walked upstairs to Gregory's room where their other friend Christophe was, when they walked in Chris was laying with his back to the floor and munching on a grilled cheese.

"Oh hey Damien,want a bite?" Christophe said holding out his sandwich towards the boy "Yeah sure" Damien said taking the sandwich "So I assume you'll sleep in my guest bedroom since Tophy only likes sleeping in bed with me" Gregory said making Chris groan and lay face flat on the floor in embarrassment, Damien laughed "Yeah of course I'll sleep there"he said handing the 🥪 back to Chris "I'm gonna pass out for the rest of the night, I'm really fucking tired so goodnight" Damien said before leaving the room.

"What the fuck..?" Damien mumbled as he woke up on the ground. The demon looked around and saw himself surrounded by trees and puddles of water all around him, he brushed some of his wet hair out of his face before getting up to try and find his way out.
