CHAPTER 10

Kakatapos lang ng klase namin para sa unang subject. Mamaya na naman ulit alas tres y medya ang sunod kaya mahabang paghihintay na naman ang gagawin ko.

Tumunog ang cellphone ko at agad lumitaw ang pangnalan ni Brie sa screen. I swiped to open.

Andito kami sa cafeteria:)

I reply back.

To: Brielle

Going.

After I hit send, lumabas na agad ako ng room. Napatalon pa ako sa gulat ng makita si Xaiveriel na naka-sandal sa wall. Umayos rin naman agad sya ng tayo pagkakita nya sakin.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit sya andito? Hinihintay nya ba ako? Bakit? Bakit nya naman ako hinihintay?

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"I'm waiting for you." He simply answer

"And why?" I raised up my brow

"I want to eat lunch together with you." He said straightforwardly

Medyo nagulat ako roon pero hindi ko pinahalata sa kanya. I don't know why but I started to feel nervous when he's near me. Normal ba yun?

"Can I?" He asked again

I sighed. "Kasabay ko mga kaibigan ko. They're waiting for me."

"Then I'll going with you." He grinned

Bumuntong hininga na lang ako at agad syang tinalikuran. I felt him following me from my back.

While we're walking, nakuha namin ang attention ng iba. Some of them whispering something about us and some of them are looking at us with a hint of curiosity in theirs eyes.

I find it uncomfortable. I really hate it when people stare at me, they didn't know that they make other feel uncomfortable by their stare.

Mas binilisan ko ang aking lakad pero mabilis din akong hinabol nitong si Xaiveriel. Huminto ako at nilingon sya.

"Hwag mo nga ako sabayan. People stare at us and I don't like it." I hissed

"I'm sorry." He apologize and started to walk slowly

Pagdating ko sa cafeteria agad kong nahanap kung saan ang dalawa. I walked towards their table and sat down on the reserve sit.

Sunod na pumasok si Xaiveriel at dito dumiretso kung nasaan kami. My friends jaw dropped and even their eyes widened in shocked.

"Magkasama kayo?" Gulat na gulat na tanong ni Brie

I just shrugged and took a sip on Brie's juice. Wala naman sya sinabi dahil sa ginawa ko. Hindi rin naman ako laway conscious tulad ng iba.

"Salamat, ah? Inubos mo ang juice ko." Sarcastic na sambit ni Brie

I just smirk at her.

"So, bakit kayo magkasama?" Usisa nya pa

Number 1 tsismosa talaga to si Brie kung hindi nyo alam yan. Halos lahat 'ata ng tsismis alam nya. She's so updated.

"We're friends now." Singit ni Xaive

Humalakhak si Xeah. "Are you serious, Xaive?"

"Weh ba? Baka nanaginip ka pa dyan, Xaive? Ayaw nya dumagdag friends nya!" Segunda ni Brie "We're enough for her!"

"Nah. Asked her!" Mayabang syang ngumisi

"Well yeah." I agreed

Mas lalong humagalpak ng tawa ang dalawa, napalingon tuloy samin ang iba pero wala naman paki ang dalawa.
