Five or six years ago, I wrote a series of chapters on Wattpad called 'Here, There and Everywhere'. These were about my time as an air hostess back in the 70s to 80s and also about travel in that era. I enjoyed writing some of my adventures and received good feedback, which in turn, encouraged me, with the help of an editor friend, to turn it into a book. It was published in 2019 and was a real highlight in my life.
Here, There and Everywhere Else also returns to my air hostess roots where I tell stories I wasn't able to include in the first book, as well as some travel adventures which occurred after flying in 1985 and onwards. Hopefully, I can convey the same sense of fun and adventure with 'Here, There and Everywhere Else'.
I plan to begin my book with a chapter called 'The Letter' which describes my elation and delight at having been accepted for publication by Ginninderra Press, my South Australian publishers.
I have plenty more travel stories to tell you, which I hope will bring enjoyment and perhaps memories of your own travels in a now bygone era.
