The Babysitter (1D Fanfic)(Liam Payne Love Story)

~Chapter 10~

I woke up, in Liam’s arms, with a shirt on, thankfully. He was softly singing ‘Gotta Be You’. I didn’t want him to stop singing, as odd as that sounds, so I pretended to still be asleep.

“Girl I see it in your eyes you're disappointed
'Cause I'm the foolish one that you anointed with your heart
I tore it apart
And girl what a mess I made upon your innocence
And no woman in the world deserves this
But here I am asking you for one more chance.” I stirred and he stopped singing. Darn.

I looked up at him, and relief and nervousness washed over his face. I sat up and yawned. We were back at the house, and I think, we were in his room. The room was pretty clean, some clothes here and there on the ground, and some clothes piled up on his dresser in need to be put away. His bed was a king sized bed with beige colored comforter and cream colored sheets. The window had light purple colors and the walls were a deep blue color. There was a flat screen TV on the wall directly across from his bed. I looked back at Liam and he was looking at his feet, which were now dangling off the edge of the bed.

“D-do you remember last night?” He asked softly.

“Unfortunetly, yes.” His face fell.

“Because of… me?”

“No, because I almost got raped by my ex.”

“Oh.”

“Yeah…” An awkward silence sat between us.

“B-but… do you know… what I said that provoked him to do that….” He said, guilt thick in his voice, making his accent thicker. I sighed and nodded. He had called me his girlfriend. Why, though? I looked at him, and his face was beet red in his hands.

“Why?” I asked softly. I wasn’t mad at him, just confused. He shook his head.

“I-I don’t know. I just…. Don’t know….” He whispered the last part, his voice cracking. I took one of his hands in mine, his hands were at least twice as big, and gasped when I saw the stitches. He looked confused for a second then noticed what I gasped at.

“Just a little flesh wound.” He chuckled.  I shook my head.

“You take things too lightly.” I absentmindedly snuggled into his side, and he draped his arm around my shoulders. We sat there in silence for a few minutes before I came to the realization that Liam has a girlfriend. I gasped and sat up, very quickly.

“What? Are you alright?!” He asked, worry clear in his tone.

“Y-you have a girlfriend…” I said weakly.

“What? I don’t have a girlfriend. Who said I have a girlfriend?” He asked, his face scrunched up in confusion.

“Uh, Danielle Peazer!”  I said, throwing my hands in the air as to say, ‘duh!’

“Ohhhhh… yeah, Danielle and I, aren’t actually dating. She has a real boyfriend named Jack.” He explained. Wait, what?

“What? But you two are so cuddly and sweet and nice…” I said trailing off.

“Management made us. Basically they found a hot thin girl and made us pretend to date. I agreed to it. Zayn and Louis did that too, but they actually fell in love with Eleanor and Perrie. Niall and Harry refused to. Harry dates a new girl every week, no offence to him, and Niall is just waiting for ‘the one’.” He put air quotes around the one. I nodded. I was still confused, but I let it go.

“Ok… So, what do you want for dinner?” I asked standing up and stretching. He looked at me in astonishment.

“What?” I asked, looking at myself to make sure I wasn’t covered in goo or something.

“Do you know what time it is?” He asked me. I gave him a confused face and shook my head.

“It’s 3:30 am…”

“Oh…”

“Yeah…”

“Well, I can’t fall back asleep…. Soooooooo Imma go watch T.V. Wanna come with?” I asked him. He chuckled as he stood up.

“What?” I whined.

“You sound like a teenager in high school.”

“I am still a teen!”

“Whatever helps you sleep at night, sweetie.” He said walking out of the room. Did he just call me old?! Oh, no… he will pay….

“Liammmmmmm!” I called.

“Whattttttt?” Me mimicked me.

“I hurt my ankle in the *sniff* incident. Can you carry me?” I asked as sweetly as I could. He huffed then gave in.

“Finnnneee.” I giggled. He picked me up, bridle style.

“Thank you Li.” I said giggling. I went to kiss him on the cheek when he suddenly turned his head, and out lips met.

A/N sorry for the short and crappy chapters... I havea lot of tests and chiz..... UGGG and the play is coming up soon so I have rehersal like EVERY DAY! 

I'm tired. Night my kittens
