I let her sleep on me. I'm not soft but I rather her with me than with anybody else.

I notice she is quite dependent on drugs or weed and that worries me a little. I haven't gotten the chance to talk to Dominic yet but I know he knows a lot.

That conversation will be held once Lorenzo and the girl are out of the hospital. Claire was it? Cassandra?
I can't be bothered to remember.

It was quite fun. Finding out that your little 19 year old baby sister has a man in her basement who she forgot about.

I'm starting to understand why she is the most powerful mafia leader in the world. I wonder what happened with our alliance.

No business for now. I have to warm Chris up to his sister again and make sure Dylan is around. Also have to check on Elijah and Caleb.

I really am turning into a dad. I mean I'm 28. My eldest "child" is 26, second eldest is 23, then there's a 21 year old and two 19 year olds.

At least they are all adults.

Damn our father was a bitch. I thought he was the best until I found out about Kiara's abuse and well realized that I am parenting 5 people.

Don't get me wrong. I love my siblings and I had no doubts ever and still don't. But again, I was 22 left to take care of a 20, 17, 15 year old and two 13 year olds. They were pretty much all in their teenager phases which meant lashing out and hormones.

I was there when Kie got her first period, when Elijah had his first date, when Caleb got his license, when Chris graduated. I was there for everything. Every football game and every event. I was a better father than ours was. And sure it was tough especially while ruling a mafia. But I somehow did it.

Our birth-giver and sperm donor died 6 years ago. I hired people to look after their graves. As shitty as they were, my father was a mafia king and his grave had to be looked after.

Or else our enemies would figure out that something went down. I can't let that happen. Not when my sorellina is finally home and the boys are somewhat grown up.

We deserve some peace too.

I pull out my phone and text Hans. He is still there so he can get the basement guy. I was about to go back to relaxing when Kie started moving very shakily.

"You good?" I ask. She shows no sign of consciousness. "Kiara" I say again hoping to get her attention. That however got Elijah's and Dominic's attention instead. The two now making their way to me while giving each other looks.

I keep nudging Kie but she doesn't seem to be responding.

"I don't mean to be a bitch but she looks like an expensive vibrator right now" Luke, who somehow also ended up here, points out.

"Athena, I need you to wake up for us" Dominic says softly to her. "Bambina it's time to get up" Elijah tries. "If you open your eyes right this second I will bring the speedtail here" Dominic tried to bribe.

Nothing.

Also what speedtail? The only speedtail I know is- hell nah. Ain't no way.

She jumps slightly. Finally we can see signs of waking up. Yet she looks weird. Like she needs a push. Elijah also catches onto that. "Luke compared you to a vibrator" he states.

"Luke è solo geloso di non potermi avere" Kie mumbles. Everybody laughs besides Luke.
(Luke is just jealous that he can't have me)

"Are you alright?" I ask the now almost awake Kiara. She nods slightly. "I just sometimes get these ticks during sleeping" she mumbles. I'm not sure if she actually wanted to tell us.

"Athena Carpenter?" somebody asks. Kie raises her hand and gets up. A doctor with blonde hair and green eyes approaches us.

"You're the closest family for Lorenzo Eric Gallo and Clara Avery Bridget?" the doctor asks. "Yes" she says before I could question it. "What about their parents?" the doctor asks. "Lorenzo's abandoned him and Clara's are dead" she speaks confidently but not really caring.

"Well they were lucky. The truck driver was at fault and they can be discharged in three days" the doctor says. Kie just nods and waves the doctor goodbye.

"So what now?" Elijah asks. "Off to home we go" Kie shrugs. "You can't just leave them here," I say.

If she claims to be the closest family member then she should definitely stay. "Watch me" she simply says walking out. I throw Dominic a questioning look. "Just go with it" he simply says following my sister.

A part of me is against the fact that this guy knows her better than I do. I mean how much can one change in 3 years?

Okay yes a lot. But I always expected Kie to stay sweet. Now she has guys in her basement and she leaves her parentless friends alone in a hospital.

It's a little sad. But I can't blame her. Maybe she just prefers to keep her distance.

Yes this is very short but the thing is. I'm currently outside. Had a party and didn't feel like going home because I'd much rather chill at a playground and wonder if I'll get kidnapped. Anyway it is late and this is a filler. So yes. I'm sorry.

I have an exam tomorrow btw (it's past midnight). Fun. Not really
