From Commander To Teacher

Part 6

After getting in the Mako I drove us through the tunnel and outside into the snowy mountain both Liara and Shepard talked to each other while I drove.

Liara: Has Commander L/N always been like that?

Shepard: Yeah, ever since we've met.

Liara: If you don't mind me asking how did you meet?

Shepard: He got lost where both of our parents were both posted at one of the stations, and when I found him he had a pistol and was trying to aim it at a poorly set up shooting range.

Y/N: That was a beating that lasted a life time.

Shepard: Then he followed me like a little puppy ever since.

Y/N: I'm sorry? You might be getting that part backwards, it was you following me around.

Shepard: Keep telling yourself that.

As we drove I noticed a ledge and stayed in the middle so we wouldn't fall. Getting to another tunnel up ahead I saw the geth were already set up defenses, but they quickly fell with the Mako's gun and cannon and that's how it was driving and shooting until peak 15 was finally in sight and I drove until we hut the entrance. Unfortunately the entrance for the Mako was covered so we got out and headed in on foot.

As we entered the the room where the Mako would have been we waited until the door we entered closed and the garage door opened geth immediately shot at us and quickly we got into cover. As I peaked around the corner I shot at some of the geth and quickly lift one of them out of cover and Shepard quickly destroyed it, but as she did I noticed a Krogan running towards us and just as he got to the entrance I quickly threw him back then Liara quickly finished him before he could get back up. After it was clear a voice was heard.

???: User alert. All peak 15 facilities have suffered a great deal of damage. Biohazard materials present through facility.  Virtual intelligence user interface offline. 

Y/N: Great, now we need to fix this place before getting anywhere.

Shepard: That's why you're here.

Y/N: Yes your highness...

As I walked up ahead Liara spoke noticing the turrets.

Liara: Why are the turrets facing the wrong way?

Y/N: Instead of keeping people out they want to keep them in. Oh an elevator.

Heading up it stopped and we moved towards the door ahead of us and when we opened it the geth were waiting, so I quickly lifted the one in front and we moved in and quickly cleared the geth form the room. As it was cleared we started to hear noises coming from all around us, so quickly we got back to back as the creaking of something moving had us on guard. Then screeching from the window got our attention two of them were heading towards us, so I threw a grenade and as soon as they got to the stair case I detonated it killing both of them.

Liara: What were those things?

Y/N: I have no idea.

As we moved towards the stairs another popped up from a vent in the room beside us and quickly fired at it putting it down.

Shepard: Lets keep moving.

Walking down a hall we found another elevator and head up and as we got out we opened another door seeing smaller green bugs and quickly took care of them before looking around seeing all the doors were locked. Walking to the room it looked like the core and as I pressed the button I was lowered down into the core. Next thing I know was that I had to move the memory core to one of the other cores as the first one was damaged.
