From Commander To Teacher

Part 12

The world was spinning as we landed in the Citadel and when I mean land we spun around a few times until the Mako landed upside down.

Shepard: Everyone okay?

Liara: I'm fine.

Y/N: I'm seeing two Shepard's... Nice.

Shepard: You're alright.

Getting out from the Mako we moved towards the elevator but the spikes holding husks moved down releasing the husks and quickly fired at them. After dealing with them we walked towards Avina to get the situation.

Avina: The presidium is experiencing severe system malfunctions across the entire level. All non-emergency personnel must evacuate immediately.

Shepard: Give me a run-down of the damage.

Avina: We have lost all primary power to the level. Environmental controls are not responding. Class three fires are burning in sectors 2,3,6, and 7. Civilian casualties are high. I am also detecting numerous unauthorized synthetic life forms throughout the station. They are believed to be hostile. Please approach with caution. 

Shepard: What happened to the Council?

Avina: In accordance with standard emergency procedures, the Council has been evacuated to the Destiny Ascension. 

Y/N: What about Captain Anderson and... Ambassador Udina? What happened to them? 

Avina: I have no information on the status of specific individuals. Once the current crisis has been resolved, a complete accounting of casualties and survivors will begin. 

Y/N: That's a big if...

Shepard: We'll stop him. Where's Saren?

Avina: Former Spectre agent Saren Arterius is nearing the vicinity of the Council Chamber. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, through Citadel Security is unable to respond at this time.

Shepard: Come on. We need to stop Saren before it's too late! 

Quickly getting into the elevator behind us we started moving up towards the council chamber.

Y/N: While we try to stop the world from ending we have to take the worlds slowest elevator.

Shepard: Don't jinx us, Y/N. 

Then the elevator stopped. 

Y/N: Whoops.

Shepard: Saren's locked the elevator! Suit up, We're going outside!

Throwing on our helmet's Shepard shot the glass from the elevator and moved outside and our boots stuck to the side. 

Y/N: Let's get walking.

Looking to where we needed to go Sovereign was there as well meaning we were running out of time. Moving the glass broke from the left as geth walked out and quickly I threw a grenade blowing them up and more came from up ahead. Pulling out my shotgun I rushed ahead using throw to push a geth back blasting the rest until it was clear. As we pushed forwards dealing with the geth in front of us a geth ship started dropping off more of them, but I saw a turret and quickly turned it on as it fired at the ship. Noticing more turret I quickly made my way to two more as Shepard and Liara focused on the geth until the ship was destroyed. 

Y/N: I hate this!

Shepard: You shouldn't have jinxed us.

We kept walking dealing with more geth until we came across an open area where the geth had set up their own turrets, so we stayed back from a distance as we dealt with the turrets and geth. After we were done it seemed like there was no more geth and we continued on until we came across and access hatch. Crawling through we finally made it to the Council's chamber and moved towards the stairs dealing with the geth that tried to stop us. Getting to the top of the stairs we saw Saren jump only to come back up with his pistol drawn and threw a grenade at us which we dodged.
