I tried to teleport. Honestly, I did. But my body was exhausted, the dark magic was a few moments away from destroying my soul and eradicating me. I was struggling to breathe as I finally landed on a random rooftop. I bent over on my hands and knees, and vomited up black blood, which became slicker, making it harder to stay on the roof. I had to stand up but my entire boy was now shaking, shuddering as the dark magic tried to balance itself and establish full control. I was trying to keep in control, so I could send Dick to Hell along with the Dragon Goddess. Yeah, while I had loved him, and he originally wanted to be together, and maybe he could've brought Hell to his knees, actually, no, he couldn't have, because Hell's a shithead and being a dimension, could easily blow vampires to bits without even realizing it, then in that case, Dick would be dead, and-Argh, this is fucking annoying, this little-

"Hana?" a quiet voice asked from behind. I recognized the voice, but I still jumped a little bit anyway. I whirled around and startled as I saw the spirit walking towards me. Seeing him made tears slowly start streaming down my face.

"Blaze?" I whispered hoarsely.

"Hana."

"No, no. I-"

"I'm not here to blame you for my death. I already know what happened. I forgave you a long time ago, when I died," Blaze cut me off, also crying softly.

I glanced down at my hands that had killed him brutally, stained with my own black blood.

"Blaze, then why are you here? I can't atone anymore. You're dead, and I'm still struggling to live with that."

"I know, I know. You don't need to worry. You actually need to move on. But I'm not here for that right now. I'm here to heal you."

"Heal me?"

At those words, the dark magic suddenly took control and hissed at him. Blaze didn't flinch, he just took my hands and I felt the power of spirit bonds radiating through my body, and I shuddered at it.

"Blaze-"

He stepped away, and I felt warmer as the dark magic vanished and I just had normal Alpha power again.

"What-How'd you do that?"

"Some secrets will never be told, Alpha," he said with a bow, then winked at me and vanished. I was left standing on the rooftop, staring at the spot he had just been, then I made up my mind, and vowed to send the two shitheads to Hell's dungeons. It took a bit of extreme effort to teleport down into Gotham's center, and siphon from the infinite Alpha source. I began patching up the damages, letting waves of Alpha power roll through Gotham, restoring it, and the Hex. Then as Dick and Meghan came into the City Center, a car came screeching through and parked right behind me. I turned around and saw two men step out of a car that looked like...Oh. It was the Batmobile. With a sigh, I greeted Bruce Wayne and Luke Fox, then turned back around to Dick and Meghan.

"So. What to do with you two."

"What happened here?"

"Bruce, you have another playboy on your hands," I spoke coldly.

"I do?"

"Your stupid Nightwing cheated."

Bruce snapped his attention to Dick, and he began to look uncomfortable.

"I told you. I told you to not to involve yourself with her, and now look at the problems it caused. You idiot. I told you! You didn't listen."

"Bruce, look-"

"No. No, it's okay. I'm just going to have to deliver a different lecture next time. Also, you're babysitting Damian for the next month."

Luke had been quiet, but at this he finally spoke up.

"That's not fair. At all. He fucking cheated on the Alpha! For what? A mortal?"

"Dragon Goddess."

"Over the Alpha! You let her slip from your fingertips, and for what reason? Satisfaction? No, no, you son of a bitch, you deserve to go to Hell for this. And I hope your stupid bitch over there dies instantly when she enters those dungeons."

"Whoa, Luke, come on. Dick, were you guys even together?"

"Well, no, but I did love her-"

"See? Not even together. Boom, conversation over. Come on, let's go."

"No. None of you are going anywhere."

"What? Come on, Hana, you know-"

My teeth snapped together, and my claws unsheathed, and I flicked my wings open. A portal opened behind her, letting a whoosh of hot air out.

"Oh no, you're not going anywhere," Luke snapped, grabbing Dick's arm before he could bolt. Hana shoved Meghan through, and Meghan screamed as the heat roared up and set her on fire.

"Next up, the vampire."

Luke pushed Dick over to me, and I easily pushed him through the portal and snapped it shut. Bruce looked pissed.

"Open that back up and bring him back."

"No. He'll be fine. As for you, Wayne, you better run."

Bruce took one look at my expression, turned tail and ran.

"And you-" I paused, "You, um, thank you. Nobody has stood up for me like that."

"Really? That's kind of sad, if you think about it. I do indeed wonder how you survived in Hell?"

I shared a small smile.

"You don't want to know. But let's just say...Being the daughter of Hell does help out a little bit."

Luke raised his eyebrows.

"You're the daughter of Hell?"

"Yes," I replied softly.

"How come you haven't blown up this dimension?"

I shrugged, but meeting his gaze, for some reason, I knew exactly why I wouldn't leave this city.

"Let's just say...There are some people worth keeping this dimension alive," I responded.

"Who, may I ask?"

"Nobody of your concern. Yet. I really do need to get going, Alpha business and all."

"Will you stay in Gotham?"

"Yes. I think I will."

"That's good."

"See you around, Fox," I said as I began to walk away.

"It's a date," he teased from behind me. Deciding to play his game, I replied.

"Set a time and place."

"3:30pm. The park. Thursday," he responded lightheartedly from behind me.

"I'll see you there, then."

With that, I walked away and vanished.
