Two days had passed since the events in Mantle. Cyrus had returned to the Jedi Temple in anticipation of his next mission... whatever that may be. As of right now, he had his own mission. A mission not of necessity, but of curiosity. He walked down one of the many branching hallways that existed in this Temple. To a newcomer, this place would seem like a maze, but Cyrus had been living in this temple for over a decade now. He knew it like the back of his hand. So it came as no shock that he quickly reached his intended destination. He knocked on the door and awaited a response. Almost instantly, a voice came from the other side.

Blake: Come in.

Cyrus opened the door to a decently sized office space. Black was sitting at a desk, sipping from a cup of tea.

Blake: Young Valen. I'm surprised that you're here. Is there something you need?

Cyrus: Oh, well. I did have something I wanted to ask of you, Master Belladonna. But, it isn't very important, so if you're busy, I could come back another time.

Blake: No, no, that's quite alright. I'm not particularly busy at the moment. Please, have a seat.

Cyrus smiled and took a seat on a nearby chair.

Blake: So, what exactly did you want to ask me?

Cyrus: Well... there's been some things I've always been curious about, but never really had the time to ask about.

Blake: Those things being?

Cyrus: I want to know a little bit about what stuff was like right after you guys defeated Salem. Most stories about the Jedi start and end with the Battle of Mantle, when you made your triumphant stand against the Grimm and Atlas alike. But... What about after the battle, after Salem had been defeated?

Blake: Oh, so you want to hear about what we did after the Battle of Mantle?

Cyrus: Yes, ma'am.

Blake: Well, after Grandmaster (L/N)'s broadcast to the world signaling the end of the Grimm War, the first thing we did was return up to Atlas.

Cyrus: Why did you do that?

Blake: Well...

Flashback 12 Years Ago

(Y/N) (L/N) walked down the corridors of Atlas command, several Jedi and clones trailing behind him. The Atlas soldiers that guarded this facility dare not shoot him. Either out of respect, or out of fear, they let him pass. It was only a matter of time before he reached the door to the command center, where General Ironwood was currently stationed. Two guards stood on either side of the door.

(Y/N): Let me in.

Guard: Th- This door is f- for authorized-

(Y/N) stared him directly in the eye for a moment and the guard's skin lost all of its color. He, with a shaky hand, pressed a button that opened the door. On the other side, (Y/N) was faced with a control room, where the Atlas military was monitoring the entire situation in Mantle. Including the giant grimm that they had just slain, as well as the security footage of the hallway he was standing in. They knew he was here. Inside this room, in the center of it all, was General Ironwood. As soon as the door opened. Every eye in that control room turned to him. Ironwood's eyes were opened wide, and locked with (Y/N)'s. The general slowly walked towards the Jedi, his remaining arm raised in the air. After several seconds of walking in a room of dead silence, the two were once again face-to-face.

(Y/N): General Ironwood.

Ironwood: I... I don't know what to-

The general was cut off by (Y/N)'s fist colliding with his face. Several gasps were heard in the control room as Ironwood staggered backward. Ironwood felt his bottom lip and saw the blood that now stained his fingers. A look of anger briefly covered his face, but it soon subsided.
