I glide from rooftop to rooftop until I am perched on the highest hotel that looks over the city. Questions swarm my mind but I block them out, hating the feeling of not knowing. A question nudged me stronger then the others, should I join the x men? No, my conscious whispers, they are just freaks like you who want a impossible things with humans; equality. Well at least they fight for something, it is better than living life like we do, I argue. "What if they don't want me? What if I disappoint them?" I whisper out loud. The wind rushes past me and I sigh. "Anything is better than living like a vigilante."
