The Feline Assassin

***Chapter 5***

"Wow, look over here!" I call, staring down at the passed out men. Cyclops turns the corner and stops. "Looks like these men got to her first, and look at them." He says. Kitty and Storm walk up. Kitty gasps when she sees all the unconscious and bloody men. "She did this? The mutant?" She yelps. "Did I do what?" A low angelic voice asked. "Who's there?" I call into the darkness. I hear the clicking of heels and the most extraordinary creature I have ever seen sashays out of the darkness. She is wearing a black, tight dress and black shades, which is strange, since it is night. She had long black hair, cat ears, and a tail. "Well hello there, let me introduce myself." She says, nodding her head to the side but watching us carefully. "I'm the Feline Assassin." She smiles, revealing fangs. "We're the x-men." Kitty says, somewhat scared. "Mm, yes, the heroes who fight for mutant kind and humans alike. I've heard about you, dears." She says, eyeing each one of us. "This is Storm, Kitty, Kurt, and I am Cyclops." Cyclops introduces on edge. "I'm guessing you came to take me to the Professor?" She asks, placing her hand on her hip. "Yes, how did you know that?" Storm questions. "I read people well, I guess it's a...gift." The Feline Assassin replies with a slight purr. "We just want to keep you safe." Cyclops tells her, Kitty and I stay silent, me from interest, Kitty with fear. "I think I can handle myself." She retorts, kicking one of the unconscious guys. "We may need you, you could be very helpful in saving mutants." I speak up. Her attention focuses on me and she softens a bit for some reason. "I'll think about it. If I don't show up here in four days, then you know my answer." She says smoothly and turns. Then with graceful strides she disappears into the night. "Woww." Kitty says after a few minutes. "Tell me about it." Cyclops mutters.
