"Do you feel it too?" A Monix fanfiction

4. All nighter

The two were awake and energetic, well six for the most part. Mono didn't do well with staying up late unless he was entertained. They were just talking about bills and plans for the future, which they both despised the topic but it had to be done.

"it's crazy that I'm living with you now" six stretches her arms out and sighs after. Mono replies with a nod, his eye lids getting heavy. 

"Mono, don't you have a Nintendo switch? That'll be fun to do." Six says as she gets closer to the boy.

"mhm, but I don't have a lot of games but if you want to play, we can play." he desperately smiles.

She nods and gets up from the couch, stretching soon after and goes for the two green and yellow controllers.

They connect the switch to the tv, making the small screen project onto a bigger screen. Six jumps back down to the couch.

Six passes mono the green controller and keeps the yellow one, mono controls the cursor. He asks, "what game, six?" His energy recharging back up.

"The untitled goose game? Looks simple and fun." Their shoulders now touching, "that's not a two player game though." Mono objects 

"We can make it work, I promise." Mono laughs, "you can't promise anything, you'll get upset and rage quit. Choose a different game."

Six looks at the screen and back at mono, "that's the only game other than Tetris 99." Mono shuts his eyes closed for a short while in embarrassment.

"Okay, we'll just make it work." He gives her a thumbs up as she laughs, "I can promise"

The quacks and sound effects are loud but the two can't stop their laughter.

"Come on, go left. GO LEFT, PLEASE. DO YOU NOT KNOW YOUR LEFT AND RIGHTS?", six yells as mono covers his mouth to muffle the noisy laughs. 

They were on the floor, their backs leaning against the couch, and their shoulders and arms were connected. During some of the time, six leaned her head on his shoulder while laughing.

Mono could barely push away the feeling to just kiss her and tell her he would protect her and care and support everything she does, to tell her how much he cares and loves her.

"You said we would work it out and now your raging, all you need is the quit part." Mono was just trying to say he was right, six got offended. Jokingly, of course.

"come on, smart ass, let's continue playing." She says with a bright smile on her face. 

The gameplay continues but soon six starts to wonder, "mono, why do you always where your mask? You're not ugly."

He just stares at the TV, thinking about an answer. "Uhm, I grew up thinking I was ugly and I got bullied so, life was tough as a kid."

Six nods and slowly looks back at the screen, "when will I see your face?" Mono thinks again, "maybe in a year or 4 months or even never, I don't know."

Six laughs, "okay, mister mysterious, calm down." She scoffs once more.

He tries to jokingly be offended but it doesn't show much, the urge he gets grows bigger. Her hair is so lovely, and her lips look soft and warm to the touch. Like, you can fade into reality and forget about time when you kiss her.

Her hands were short but her fingers were slim and smooth, they looked soft and comfortable. He wanted to hold her hand and cuddle her, kiss her until they fall asleep but they weren't really there yet.
