To mono the day before felt like a dream, he was so thankful when he found that it wasn't. After the two had showered they talked, they talked about the fight with Nosebleed and the long speeches they gave each other.

Six pointed out a sentence he had told her, "I would just think about you out of no where and I wouldn't be able to get you out."  When he asked what about it she replied with, "it was sweet."

Mono smiled, harder than ever before. 

"i also wanted to say i love you, instead of i like you but i didn't want to scare you off..heh", Mono chuckled after he spoke.

May 18

RING RING

The ring tone continues as mono groans, breaking a staring contest with six. He takes a long look at the phone with the name, " nosebleed ", on it before grabbing it.

"By the way, that was an unfair win so we'll have to redo it after.", Mono grins at six's upset face.

"no, you didn't have to look at your phone. You could've ignored it so, i win." She snaps back, obviously playing around but she still had a tint of annoyance in her soft voice.

Mono chuckles, "hold up, i have to handle a very upset girl, i'll be back." He gets up and answers the call, ruffling six's short hair before entering his room.

Mono plops on his bed while the call connects..

silence played through the first couple seconds of the awkward call, Mono being the first to speak up.

"hey spoon..sorry for not talking to you much. i know you were excited to hang out but six didn't want to be alone or even go at all." The call was silent for a little more but it was broken from another voice.

" I invited six so she could meet other people and mono..i invited you because we haven't hung out in forever. We used to be close friends until you started talking to her, ever since that you never left her side like an obedient puppy.."

Mono didn't know how to reply, he thought spoon and his's relationship was fine; he didn't notice any change.

She continues, " Mono, it's getting annoying..like really annoying. Remember that one time when i came late to work? We greeted each other like normal but then you didn't say anything else. We usually had a little talk but then it was just a " hi" and a " hey" before it was over. Mono, i feel like i don't even know you anymore."

"sorry.." that was the only thing that came out of his mouth, which obviously made the girl upset.

"sorry? Is that all you have? Mono, I was your first friend when you got the job. You were even scared of six and I was the person to tell you, no, she's nice.." 

she scoffed, "i wish i never told you that. I wish i would've just let you be scared of her and maybe we could've still been friends..."

Mono furrows his eyebrows, they were still friends, right?

"you don't think we're friends?" Mono asks, finally joining the conversation.

"Mono that's literally what i'm trying to tell you, it doesn't feel like that. I even set up that whole party thing just so i could talk to you. I really wanted to talk to you." her voice lightly cracking in between some of her sentences.
