6. hangout?

RING RING

The loud phone continues, over and over again. Six groans while rubbing her eyes and reaches over Mono's sleeping body. His body heat radiants onto hers.

It was a phone call from a name six couldn't clearly see, she nudges mono's side.

"mono..." she gets no reply, "mono" six calls again before giving up and hanging up the call. Mono twitches before his eyes shoot open, scaring six in the process; who is still on top of the boy.

His breath quickens for a quick second, he stares at six with confusion. "what are you doing?" Mono asks with a smile, soon before rubbing his eyes.

"sorry.." six says moving her body off his, " someone called, I really couldn't see who though."She continues, still close to mono.

mono grabs his cold phone, with his smile still stuck on his face. It falls though, "oh, it's just nosebleed."

Six furrows her eyebrows, "who?", a grin shines through her lips as she asks. She nods as mono replies with, "a girl we work with, I just call her nosebleed."

The girl relaxes her neck and stretches her legs and numb arms, she gives small sighs and grunts.

Mono quietly laughs to himself while he texts spoon girl.

...

' sorry, I was sleeping and didn't get your message. what's up?' Spoon instantly replies back as six lays down, her stomach touching his sides.

'it's fine and I was wondering if you and six wanted to hangout after work?'

He turns his head towards six's direction, six understands his question and nods. Mono turns back to the screen.

' yeah sure! we're going to start getting ready' mono thinks about what to say next before continuing, 'see you later'

Mono turns the screen off and places it on his night stand and gets off the bed with a squeak of the springs.

He sees from the corner of his eye six watching him before doing the same, mono smiles.

Six lays her body on the door frame and watches mono look through his stuffed closet, "what wrong?" Mono asks.

Six returns a smile back at mono, "nothing.."  Mono furrows his eyebrows, "why are you staring then?"

She snickers before shrugging and exiting the room, mono continues to smile at the door but soon goes back to grabbing his uniform.

RING

The store's bells ring on top of the two, mono passes six her apron and holds his in his hands. She gives him a nod of appreciation before tying the apron on and pinning her name tag, which wrote "Sasha :)" in expo marker.

Mono does the same and fixes his bag and his tag, which wrote "Mono"  also from an expo marker but was green in color.

It took a bit for the two to notice the silent cafe, "oh shit the music, let me get it. Hold up" six quietly says as she runs to the back.

Mono takes a moment to process last night, from six laying her head on his shoulder to asking to sleep in his bed. It was clearly difficult to understand without thinking he was dreaming or fantasizing.
