"Dinner is ready." Burry knocked on my door and called us down for dinner.
"We will be coming down." I said. "Let's go Leo."
We walked down stairs.
"Have a seat Leo." My mom said.
I went to sit but my mom stopped me, "crystal, come sit beside Leo."
I tried to smile and came sat beside him.
"What would you like to drink Leo?" My mom asked.
"Water would be fine." He replied.
"So what did yall do up stairs?" Mom asked another question.
"We just did some homework." I said.
"Oh, maybe yall should go watch a movie this weekend." She suggested. Burry brought our drinks and food.
"Sounds good. You take care of my daughter." Dad said.
"Dad, mom." I said embarrassed. "But sure. Can I invite Cal-" I was about to ask Leo.
"Yall should go alone." My mom cutter me off. She smiled at Leo and me.
"Oh, it's ok. She can invite Calum if she wants too." Leo said.
"See mom?" I said.
She gave me a stare. "I think yall could go alone." She smiled.
"Fine." I knew I had to say yes unless I wanted to get grounded and not get to interact with Calum at all. But honestly she wouldn't keep me from seeing him.
"It's actually fine if you don't want to go." Leo said sweetly. Sometimes I feel bad for being so mean to him.
"No, I'll go with you." I tried to smile so I wouldn't hurt him.
"Now let's eat." My dad said, "I'm starving." He laughed.
We all began to eat and my mom started talking about Leo's parents company. Leo mentioned that his parents are making him pick out a new car for his birthday. They want him to maybe chose a Mercedes. As his parents said, "Atleast 100,000 dollars." When he said that my mom gave me a look.
For the rest of the night, we ate and talked. When we were all done, Leo needed to leave so we walked him to the door.
"Bye Leo. Come over more often. " My mom said happily. She gave me a look telling me to say bye and smile.
"Bye Leo." I said smiling.
After he left, my mom said to me "don't forget, you can only date him." She smiled and walked upstairs.
