I yawned tiredly as I sat in the moving car, staring outside the window. Kiyoomi and I were going to his parent's house since his family wanted to meet me. "Kiyoomi, when are we going to get there." I whined. "Quit whining, we're almost there." He groaned, irritated since I said the same thing not even five minutes ago. "Sorry, I'm really bored." I huffed, staring at his scrunched nose and frowning lips. We came to a stop at a two-story modern home. "Finally!" I shouted in relief that we had arrived. Kiyoomi looked at me tiredly, reaching over and unbuckling my seatbelt. "What a gentleman~." I beamed. "Mhmn." he murmured getting out of the car.

As we approached the gate Kiyoomi typed out a code and it opened. We strided into the yard, it had so many sculptures of various flowers. "My mom likes collecting those." Kiyoomi stated in a bored tone. Ringing the bell, I could hear a cheerful voice on the next side as hurried footsteps approached the door. As it opened I saw a woman who looked to be in her fifties and about the same height as me with a bright smile on her face. "Oh my! You must be Shirai." She giggled gazing at me, completely ignoring Kiyoomi. "E-evening, nice to meet you." I bowed a little shocked at how cheerful and bubbly the woman was. "Haha! No need for that dear, please come in!" She smiled, leading me into the house and to the living room area. Kiyoomi followed behind, closing the door and sanitising his hands afterwards. When I sat down I was immediately bombarded by questions from his mother and his sister who was sitting there too."Where are you from?" "How old are you?" and other questions I answered quickly. "We just came why are you killing her with these stupid questions?" Kiyoomi groaned glaring at the two women as they both stopped talking, embarrassed smiles plastered to their faces. "O-oh that's right, sorry dear we'll catch up a little later, alright?" His mother laughed heartily heading towards what I assume was the kitchen. "You're all grown up Omi." his sister snickered ruffling his hair as she passed by and towards the stairs. "I'll go call Tomaki and Niyoki for you." she said before ascending the stairs. "Your family is so lovely." I looked towards him, a smile on my face. "Come sit here." he said. Moving towards him I sat directly next to him as his hand wrapped around my shoulder. I kissed his cheek and smiled. His mother came out of the kitchen with an older man. I thought it was Kiyoomi's father but soon found out it was his stepfather. "Long time we haven't seen each other Kiyoomi." the man smiled. Kiyoomi just nodded and shook the man's extended hand. "Isn't she gorgeous?" his mother beamed. "He sure has an eye for beauties, you sure he isn't my son?" the man laughed loudly. I could see Kiyoomi visibly annoyed at the joke he made. "Let's go to my room." Kiyoomi stated as he held my hand brushing past the two. We walked down a corridor with six doors as we went into the third one. "What was that about?" I asked worriedly. "I don't like him." he said plainly, walking over to his closet. "I forgot my bag in the car." I said walking towards the door. "The keys are on my dresser." He states rummaging through the clothes.
Walking towards the front door I went outside and into the car taking up my bag and locking it again. Making my way inside I saw his stepfather sitting on the couch with his mother discussing something. "You really shouldn't say these things you know how sensitive Kiyoomi is about that." My ears perked up at Kiyoomi's name, I wasn't one to eavesdrop so I just walked up the stairs and to Kiyoomi's room.
