“Kiyoomi you said you’d come, don’t go back on your words.” I rolled my eyes pulling the male into my parent’s home. I was greeted by the sound of laughter as my mother and sister in law were speaking. “Hey Shirai!” I heard my brother’s voice and his eyes widened as he saw Kiyoomi. “Whose this?” Hito questioned with a passive smile on his face. “This is my boyfriend.” I smiled as Hito stretched his hands for him to shake. “Kiyoomi.” He said. “Hito.” My brother smiled. “You guys want anything?” Hito asked entering the kitchen. I shook my head and went to the living room where everyone else was. In addition to my mother I saw my nephews. “Hey Shirai, I heard you and Julia talked before.” My mother smiled as I sat near the two women. “Yeah, isn’t she the right person for Hito?” I replied smiling. We chatted and laughed until the door opened again. I saw my sister and my ex-boyfriend come in. “Hey everyone, I hope we aren’t late.” Sayako’s voice beamed. I froze in my speech and looked over to my mother. She just smiled softly holding my hands in hers. I looked at Kazuya then at Kiyoomi who had a scowl on his face. Hito and my father came in with refreshments. “I’m going to the bathroom.” I hurriedly told Kiyoomi dashing away. I locked the door sitting on the toilet. A twisting feeling arose in my stomach and I felt the urge to vomit. Immediately, I fell to my knees throwing up. The acidic substance burned my throat slightly and left a sour taste in my mouth. The memories of my last encounter with Kazuya and Sayako flashed like pictures in my mind. After regaining my composure I washed up and went into the living room where everyone was speaking lively and the two kids played in a corner. “Shirai, are you ok?” Kiyoomi approached me instantly, guiding me towards a chair. “Just a little nauseous, don’t worry.” I assured sitting near my nephews. “What’re your names?” I smiled warmly. The both look up at me and smile widely. “I’m Neil and this is my brother Stein, we’re twins.” said the boy. I smiled, staring at the two trying to take my mind off of the people I wanted to see the least. “Alright everyone how about we play some music?” My mother chuckled moving near the speaker set, hooking it up to her phone. Before I knew it everyone was laughing and dancing with each other, other than Kiyoomi who had left for the porch and I who sat watching everyone. Not long after I found myself outside sitting near Kiyoomi on the wooden chair. “You alright?” I asked the male. “No, I can’t stand seeing that guy.” “As much as I’d like to agree with you and leave,” I started “My brother wouldn’t allow us to when you both haven’t met each other properly.” I smiled, holding his hands in mine. His hands felt rough and they were bigger than mine, I liked holding them though since they are always warm. I had cold hands and Kiyoomi dislikes when I hold his hands but he tries to tolerate it. He rubbed his thumb against the back of my hands, sighing softly, I could see he was stressed. “Hey you two, the party is inside.” My brother came out. “I’m a bit tired from the noise.” I yawned, resting my head on Kiyoomi’s shoulder. “Well I’m sure mom and dad haven’t turned your bedroom into a storage unit like mine, head upstairs.” He smiled. I got up, leaving both him and Kiyoomi outside. By the looks of it my brother was going to interrogate Kiyoomi and I didn’t want to be a part of it. I quickly went to my room before anyone would notice me and locked the door. I looked around to see the room was the same as before, my teddy bear sat on top of the empty dresser and my bed was made up with a purple and cream striped sheet. I lay on the soft mattress sighing in comfort. Before long my eyes grew heavy and I drifted to a deep slumber.
