Upon discovering Marionette's troubled history and the mistreatment she received from Chloe, my opinion on this ship has shifted significantly. In the past, I found the enemies-to-lovers trope to be entertaining for a while, but now I no longer endorse this particular pairing. While it is possible for them to form a dynamic and competent team, I do not think a romantic relationship is appropriate or desirable in this case. It is crucial to acknowledge and respect the complexities of their past and current interactions, which may make a romantic bond difficult to sustain. They might have been friends if Thomas didn't throw all of Chloe's redemption arc out the window but i don't believe Chloe would have deserved Mari's forgiveness.
