Flowers are for lovers,
And I am my lover.
I'm me before any one else's
I'm me before I'm any other version.
I'm me before I'm who you want me to be.
So,
I'll buy myself flowers,
And write my name in the sand
Then I'll talk to my self for hours
And say things you don't understand.
I'll take myself dancing,
I'll hold my own hand.
And you know why?
Because I can.
And I don't need anyone's validation. Anyone's pitiful love, when I can do that myself.
And so can you.
