Mahira looked at the male standing over her. She felt towered by him.
She was simply sitting in the chair he pointed for her as he walked and leaned over her. She stiffly moved in her chair, looking away from those burning eyes. It felt as if they will devour her... tease her... touch her...
"Jhoot kyu bola tumne?" Mahira didn't speak a word even though the question was for her. She just kept her head down, never looking up.
It ate at her when he touched her cheeks, caressing it when the cold human touch was suddenly replaced by a cold metal touch. Her nerves thickened, the gun teased past her cheeks, towards her ear.
"Chup kyu ho?" Advit asked, still leaning over her, whispering to her. There was no one else in the room except for them. He and his Mahi were the only ones in this room. He wondered why she wasn't speaking, thought there was nothing to wonder about because it has been a while since he has heard her speak.
"Bolo!" Advit finally shouted causing Mahira to gasp in fear and tears filled her eyes which she held in due to the man standing in front of her. A sentence roamed in her head 'Ek bhi aansu naa dikhe mujhe'.
"Vo... main... nahi..." Mahira felt as if her tongue has grown numb, she couldn't make a single coherent sentence and was just stuttering in fear.
"Are you trying to anger me, Mahi?" Advit spoke softly as he put away the cold object that was on her chin. Mahira sighed when Advit again touched her with her hands. He put his hand on her chin making her face tilt towards him.
Mahira shook her head when a tear slid down her face and Advit who was holding her chin threw down the vase on the side table looking at her in anger but the more, she tried to hold in her tears, the more they fell. She couldn't hold on anymore as she tried to hold in her cries with both her hands gripping tightly on her mouth as Advit destroyed one thing after another shouting how he told her how much he hates her tears. Those tears burn him!
Mahira finally stood up shakily and desperately looked for a way out even though her gait was slow, unsteady, and uncontrollable. She knocked on the door with her hands shouting for someone who can open the door for her. She wanted to get out of here.
Advit who finished destroying the room looked at Mahira who was desperately trying to get out of here, again trying to go away from him, angered him even more and he went to her, pulled her into his embrace and held her close to himself.
He kissed her forehead as she shivered in his arms trying to calm her down. He heaved a sigh to calm his own anger that was beginning to riot and finally wrapped Mahira into himself.
He whispered calmly, "I am sorry. Just tell me why you lied."
"I... didn't." Mahira said as her head was on his chest and Advit smiled as his hand that was caressing her head went down to hold her hairs. Mahira was about to continue speaking when her head was suddenly pulled back due to the force Advit applied clutching her hairs.
Mahira cried out in pain as she looked at Advit with teary eyes and tried to explain but the pain and fear numbed her tongue, and she gasped when Advit pulled at her hairs again and leaned down close to her. She tried to turn her head away, but he didn't let her. With a finality in his tone, he said "Mahi, meri Mahi, sab bardasht hain bas jhoot nahi."
Advit wrapped her tightly in his arms and she cried in pain due to the strength he used and shook her head when he suddenly picked her in his arms and carried her out of the room which was finally opened by his one shout.
He took her away holding her in his arms under the eyes of his bodyguards.
