Chapter 29

Third p.o.v.

With Riku, Mickey and Oswald discussing the information that they had in Radiant Garden with Master Yen Sid. Once they finished their conversation they heard the door open revealing Sora, Donald and Goofy.

"Sorry we're late" said Sora

"It's okay. You got here as fast as you could" said Mickey

Now it was Sora, Donald and Goofy turn to explain the situation that they have gone through on their journey throughout the world. They've encountered The Organization thirteen from each world they've gone to.

"The Organization claims to have their thirteen darkness" Sora finished explaining the situation.

"What if they're telling us lies?" Oswald ask

"Um...I don't know, but there's something else they keep mentioning. They're after a 'New Seven Heart,' which seems to be code for 'let's go bother more princesses'" Said Sora

"Well, as the original princesses' hearts for protecting the pure light has ended, they have passed the light to others. Our enemy must certainly be cognizant of this. If the 'New Seven Hearts' is what they wish to call them, so be it" Said Yen Sid

Sora then remembers something and shares his thoughts with the others "But Kairi hasn't passed on her power. Is she one of the new seven?"

"She must be" Said Mickey "But still, she chose to wield a Keyblade and fight with us as one of the guardian of light"

"Yeah..." said Sora with a bit of worrying in his voice

"We haven't found Terra yet" Donald mention

"Hey, at least we've tracked down Ventus. Vantias told us that he's inside Sora's heart" Goofy added

"And so did Ansem the Wise in his data, so it almost certainly must be true" Jimmy Cricket also added more info

"Ventus is inside of you?" Oswald asked to which the three nodded. Oswald is relief that they at least found one of Makaylyn's friend.

"That's great! Now we can rescue Ven!" Said Mickey

"Let's not get too ahead of ourselves, remember we still need Aqua, she hold to where Ventus really is" Said Oswald

"Yeah, we still need to find her first" said Riku

Then out of nowhere Sora said "I'll go" everyone looked at Sora surprised. "Is that wise?" Mickey asks. Oswlad then felt like someone was talking alongside Sora that moment. It was like when Kairi comforted Oswald one time and he felt there was someone doing it as well. 'Could it be...?' he thought

"You need the power of waking, Sora. Do you have it?" Yen Sid ask

Sora then put his hand behind his head and replied "Uh...no? Probably not"

"Without that power, you are not ready to face the realm of darkness" Yen Sid explain

"C'mon!" Said Sora, Riku then chuckled at his friend. Sora turned to him "What's so funny?"

Riku turned to face the Master Wizard "Sorry, Master Yen Sid knows you a little too well. He said you'd try to stage a half-baked rescue" Everyone in the room laughed at Riku's statement beside Yen Sid and Oswald laughed a little. "Yeah! Laugh it up!" Said Sora

Riku then look at his childhood friend "Sora, I know you're volunteering because you're worried about me, Mickey and Oswald" Sora then gave a small nod. Riku then put his hand on his shoulder "Well, thanks but, the power of waking's important. You can come to the rescue once you've got that. Sounds fair?"
