Chapter 35

Third p.o.v.

Kairi opened her eyes to see that she is nowhere in the Keyblade Graveyard with Jose and Panchito. She looked around in her surroundings but she saw a stained glass floor of herself and her friends. "Where...am I?" she wonders

"You're in your heart" a voice spoke

"Who said that? Who are you?" Kairi asked

The voice did take a while to respond but replied "I'm not sure if you remember me but...my name is Makaylyn"

"Did you bring me here?" Kairi ask

"Yes. I was worried for you, Jose and Panchito. Vanitas is a person that you shouldn't be messing with. Let me handle him" said Makaylyn

"But you can't your inside my heart. How can I free you?" Kairi ask

"Follow your heart. Let your heart be your guiding key, there you shall free me"

Kairi nodded and listened to her heart and summoned her keyblade. The stained glass lights up and Kairi flows into the air to see Makaylyn stain glass instead of her. Kairi then takes a deep breath and points her keyblade at Makaylyn's heart. Her heart then was released and started to flow up into the air.

"Thank you Kairi...for everything" said Makaylyn

Kairi opened her eyes again to see Makaylyn protect both Jose and Panchito from Vanitas with her new body thanks to Ienzo.

"Impossible! I destroyed you!" said Vanitas

"I may have been destroyed but thanks to Kairi, I have returned into this world once again. As a Guardian I shall defeat you, Vanitas!!" said Makaylyn

"Senorita you've returned!" said Panchito

"I have thanks to you guys. Watch over Jose, I'll handle Vanitas" said Makaylyn as she turned to her friends. They couldn't help but smile at her.

"If you want to defeat me that badly" Makaylyn turns to face Vanitas as he strikes her but she blocks him with her keyblade. "Then come and find me" with which he disappeared through the Dark Corridor.

"You should go Makaylyn," said Jose, she turned to look at her friends. "He might go after Ventus and Aqua" Makaylyn nodded and rushed to them and gave them a hug.

"Please be careful" said Jose

Makaylyn got up "I will" with that she rushed through the Labyrinth. Kairi then runs over to Panchtio and Jose "You both alright?" she ask

"We'll be fine but you should go and find the others" said Panchito

"But I can't leave you both here" said Kairi

"Kairi, listen, I know what you're thinking but we'll be fine. Panchito can protect me" Jose said

Kairi was thinking until Panchito snapped her out. "Who knows, our amigos could be ambushed like what Vanitas did, you must help the others"

Kairi then finally agrees but heals Jose with her magic, and runs off to find her friends.

"I can't believe Makaylyn has returned Panchito" said Jose

"Si, now with her back, we have a more fighting chance against Organization Thirteen" said Panchito, he then started to help Jose off the group and put his arm around his shoulder to keep him from balance. "Now let's get somewhere safe, we're in an opened area"

As Makaylyn runs through the Labyrinth, she searches to find Vanitas or Ventus and Aqua. Now that she thinks about them, she couldn't help but cry. Seeing them again couldn't help but bring joy to her face.
