Terri Joe awakes with a strange feeling in her stomach. Shortly afterwards Alex climbs out of bed and walks after her and finds her in the kitchen crying. He asks what's wront and she tells him she doesn't know but something feels wrong. He assures her that everything is fine and decides to make her a omlet since she's already awake. She sits at the bar starring silently and thinking until her phone rings. That's when she recives the news that her father was found dead. Alex stops cooking and runs over to hold her as she cries up against his chest but luckily turned off the stove eye beforehand so that her omlet didn't burn.  As the news of Terri Joe's father's death spread throughout Bon Temps, the mood in the town grew even more somber. The funeral service was held at the Church of the Fellowship of the Sun, with Pastor Steve delivering a heartfelt eulogy for the departed. Terri Joe sat in the front row, clutching Tianna's hand tightly as tears streamed down her face. Meanwhile, back at Terri Joe's childhood home, something sinister was afoot. Tamara had never been one to let things go, and even in the midst of her grief she was plotting her next move. She knew that Celeetus had left his property to Terri Joe, and she had no intention of letting it slip through her fingers. She previously thought it was secured for her since Terri Joe was wheelchair bound but now that she can walk again that plan failed. Tamara sat sipping burbon, clutching prayer beads  with a sly smile on her face, she began to hatch a plan.  While Tamara was busy scheming, Alex and Nathan were doing their best to protect Terri Joe from any further harm. The two of them had never gotten along, but in the wake of Celeetus' death, they both knew that Terri Joe needed them, and that was enough to put their differences aside  at least for now. As for Jessica, she was growing more and more enamored with Kevin with each passing day. The two of them spent their afternoons wandering through the woods and taking pictures of everything they saw. Jessica loved the way he saw the world, and he loved the way she saw herself. Together, they were unstoppable. And over in the world of witchcraft, Amethyst was making progress on breaking the hex her mother had put on her. With the help of the food delivery boy, she was able to gather all the necessary ingredients. It was only a matter of time before she would finally be free.
But as always, nothing was as it seemed. Tamara still had tricks up her sleeves, and her next move would be her most devious yet. It was clear that things were only going to get worse before they got better. Meanwhile as he sat alone in his house, while Laz was at the bar working, Sam Merlot couldn't shake the overwhelming sadness he felt about his shapeshifting abilities. Despite his loving relationship with Laz, he still felt like an outsider in the world of humans and supernaturals alike. Growing up, Sam never felt like he truly fit in with either group. It didn't help that he's never met his biological fsmily and that he was an abused foster kid. As he got older, he learned how to hide his true nature and blend in with the human population, but he always felt like he was putting on a facade. It wasn't until he met Laz that he finally felt like he could be his true self without judgement. Laz was different from anyone he had ever met  a werewolf with a kind heart and a fierce loyalty to those he loved. Sam cherished their relationship and the happiness it brought him, but he couldn't help but wonder if he would ever truly feel like he belonged. Meanwhile, Tianna was struggling with her own set of problems. She had finally made the decision to tell Jason Stackhouse that she was pregnant with his baby, and asked to meet in person to make a final descion. But Sarah Newlin had intercepted the text message before it could reach him and deleted it while he was in the bathroom hiding from her. Tianna was devastated when she didn't get a response but saw it was read. She had been bracing herself for a difficult conversation, but now she felt like she had been rejected outright. Despite the setback, Tianna knew that she wanted to keep the baby. She was determined to be a good mother, unlike her own, but she also had another goal in mind finding her missing father. She had always suspected that his disappearance had something to do with the supernatural world. As she delved deeper into the mystery, Tianna found herself becoming more and more embroiled in the dangerous world of supernatural politics. She uncovered secrets that threatened to tear apart the fragile peace between different factions, and she knew that she had to be careful if she wanted to keep herself and her unborn child safe. Meanwhile, Alex and Terri Joe's romance was blossoming into something beautiful. They had overcome their initial distrust of each other and had formed a deeper connection. However, Nathan's reappearance had thrown a wrench into their relationship. Alex couldn't help but feel conflicted about Nathan. On one hand, he knew Terri Joe was relieved to see him healed up after so long. On the other hand, Alex couldn't forget the pain Nathan had caused Terri Joe in the past.  Despite the challenges they faced, Alex and Terri Joe remained committed to each other. They  decided to spend their day exploring the woods around their home with their kids Abel and Eve, as a scavenger hunt. Alex knew that there were many trials still ahead for them, but he was confident that they could face anything as long as they were together. Outside of town on the lake shore a wendigo is seen in Bon Temps, holding a scarf that belongs to Jessica and eating some local fishermen. This adds to the mystery and danger in the town. The citizens of Bon Temps will have to brace themselves for what is to come.
