Someone is knocking on Jeorgia Peach's door, and to her surprise, standing right outside is Nathan Compton, who's awfully quiet. Jeorgia's heart skips a beat as she opens the door, not sure what to expect. Nathan just stands there, looking tired and defeated. Finally, he speaks, his voice barely above a whisper. "Can we talk?" Jeorgia nods and steps aside to let him in. They sit in silence for a few moments until Nathan finally speaks again. "I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like everything's falling apart. Terri Joe drank my blood, and I don't know what that means. And now she has twins with Alex. I know I shouldn't care, but I can't help it. I love her, and I always will." Jeorgia listens quietly, not wanting to interrupt Nathan's confession. Finally, she speaks. "Nathan, you need to let her go and focus on yourself. figure out who you are without her. You deserve to find someone better." Nathan nods, knowing that she's right. Jeorgia then offers him something to drink, and he accepts. The two begin to get very drunk, and Jeorgia pulls out the pills.
They have a long, party-fueled week full of alcohol, dr*gs, and sex, which includes both the two of them and groups of various men and women. Jeorgia's butler brings her an invitation to Terri Joe's wedding, which causes Nathan to freak out while feeling a bit of guilt, shame, and lust for Jeorgia and her wild, alluring lifestyle. Meanwhile in Bon Temps Alex and Terri Joe take the twins to Terri Joe's parents home for dinner. During the dinner, Eve knocks over a bowl on the ground. Alex cleans up the mess on the floor while Terri Joe carries the bowl into the kitchen and begins to wash it along with some utensils. Suddenly, Terri Joe can hear the sound of her mama's kitten heels approaching. A sound her brain has been trained to remember since she was a child. She braces herself. She feels her mama's palm on her shoulder as she says, "I can't believe you brought that man into my home. A man that you've been shackled up with and had children out of wedlock with how dare you! This is not how I raised you. You were taught to be a Christian young woman with morals, butyou're out there acting like a hussy or some common whore. Embarrassing me in front of everyone in town. I expect this kind of harlot behavior from your cousins, but not from you, Terri. Not you." Terri Joe silently waits for her mother to leave the room and walk towards the restroom, where she will spend the next 10 minutes reapplying her makeup. She prefers a natural facebeat. Terri braces the edges of the wet sink as warm tears begin to slide down her cheeks. She looks out the window and sees Alex running around the yard playing with the twins, just as her father said in his rocking chair on the porch, cleaning his g*n. She feels a deep pain inside her stomach. It was so painful that she felt like the room was spinning, her head began to ache, and she felt as if she were about to vomit or pass out. This severe pain is something that she hasn't felt since the last time her mother accosted her. She thought that now that she's a legal adult, her mother's words wouldn't affect her as much, but they still cut straight to the bone like a knife that was carved in hell through butter on a warm day in June. Terri wanted to scream, but she just put her hand over her mouth. As the tears began to pour faster, suddenly she felt him. Alex's warm arms were around her waist, holding on to her. Suddenly, that pain in her stomach started to ease. She felt safe. She felt love and true physical form like she had never felt while living in that house with her mother and father. While driving in the car on the way home, Alex suggests that they stop and get some ice cream with her, the kids, and himself, as the kids are enjoying their ice cream in the back seat of the car. Alex asks Terri if she wants to file paperwork at the courthouse so that they can officially get a marriage license. Terri Joe tells him that is no kind of way to ask a dignified woman of God to marry you. If you are going to propose, you need to do it right. Alex laughs as he tells her that this isn't the proposal and that he'll ask her every day for the rest of her life if that's what it takes for her to say yes. Terri Joe feels her heart warming at Alex's words. She realizes that he truly loves her, and he's willing to take the time to make everything right. She hugs him tightly and buries her face in his neck, feeling grateful for having him in her life. She tells him that she would love to marry him and that she's looking forward to spending the rest of her life with him. As they drive home, Terri Joe thinks about the many obstacles they've had to overcome, including her mother's disapproving words, the hex on Amethyst, the battles of saving lost souls, Nathan, and the challenges of raising twins. But through it all, Alex has been her rock, supporting her and loving her unconditionally. Terri Joe knows that they have a long road ahead of them, but with Alex by her side, she's confident that they can overcome anything. When they finally arrive home, Tianna is waiting for them at the front door, a wide smile on her face. She tells them that she's been waitingthe whole time since she heard the news from Alex through text and that she's happy for them. Terri Joe hugs her tightly, feeling grateful for her friend's support. As they all settle down for the night, Terri Joe can't help but feel blessed. She has the love of her life, two beautiful children, and the support of her friends and family. She knows that life won't always be easy, but with Alex and the rest of her loved ones by her side, she's ready to face whatever challenges come her way. Doja Cat is Terri's childhood friend and maid of honor, and she has been given certain duties to maintain Christian traditions. Victoria, who's Jeorgia's stepdaughter, facetimes Terri Joe to ask if she can do her makeup and the bridesmaids' makeup for the wedding. Terri Joe's older brother, Kelon, sends her a letter from his conversion camp to congratulate her on the wedding. Amethyst can't come to town for the wedding because of the hex placed upon her, but she is watching through mirrors and communicating that way. Despite her lack of physical presence, Amethyst plans to make sure her magic will be felt throughout the ceremony. The sun will shine brighter, the flowers will bloom more vibrantly, and the music will have an extra touch of magic in it. Once the couple exchanges their vows, Amethyst plans to use her magic to create a beautiful, sparkling veil that hangs over them like a canopy. It's unlike her to use magic for good, but deep somewhere in her, she loves her cousin. Patty asks Arlene to be his date to the wedding, but being that she's recently widowed and has two small children, shes excited but hesitant. Sam Merlot is asked to be Laz's date, but Sam knows it's a full moon and him being a shapeshifter won't be good during the reception since it will affect his ability to control his powers, but it makes Laz think he's ashamed of him and of being a bisexual man, which he isn't. Sherrif Andy is still trying to find the killer who's been terrorizing the town, but to no avail. And Tianna wonders if she will ever make it out of that town full of secrets and pain. Meanwhile, Jessica is still trying to get over her breakup with Hoyt. She finds herself attracted to a new guy in town, but she's hesitant to jump into a new relationship after the pain she went through with Hoyt because he didn't support her as much as she needed him to and since she's still on the lookout for Nathan. Lafayette, on the other hand, is happily settled into a new relationship with Carlos, but he's worried about how the other residents of Bon Temps will react if they find out about his and Carlos' relationship.
He's also afraid to tell Tianna that Carlos is being hunted after being cursed by a bruja. As the wedding day approaches, tensions rise in Bon Temps. Everyone is excited for the celebration but also nervous about what could go wrong. Will Amethyst be able to break the hex and attend the wedding in person? Will Sam be able to control his powers during the full moon? Will the killer finally be caught and brought to justice? Will Lana be elected mayor?
Will Nathan make it to the wedding before Terri, Joe, and Alex both say I do? Only time will tell what will happen in this small Louisiana town, full of magic and mystery.
